2027 Top Prospects
Jackson Crawford
OF - 2027 - Highlands Ranch, CO
Southern Cal
Crawford bumped 82-mph from the left side on the bump with a ton of deception and some angle, peppering the zone with his mix and living arm side with it. Really nice sweeping curveball with solid depth mixed in; good idea in the box with a couple of really solid barrels with overall general athleticism in the actions. Moves well around the paths as well, body projects in a big way.
Johnny Komarowsky
3B - 2027 - Denver, CO
Uncommitted
Komarowsky absolutely mashed in game to the tune of two homeruns and multiple extra base hits that were all barreled. Has a lot of strength at impact with good barrel control and plate coverage, consistently selecting what he wants to do damage on. Showed clean actions on the left side of the infield as well with a solid arm across and good footwork. Corner profile with a nice hit tool.
Jackson Bernosky
C - 2027 - Aurora, CO
Gonzaga
Strong kid with advanced defensive actions both behind the dish and in the infield. Plus arm for the class that produces throws with carry on a line; gunned down a couple runners at second from behind the plate with throws on the dot. Nice little appearance on the bump as well, grabbed 83-mph on the four seam and showed he could spin a nice upper 60's curveball for strikes and whiffs. Lots of lean strength in the profile.
Will Klein
RHP - 2027 - Portland, OR
Uncommitted
Klein shoved in his appearance on the slope garnering plenty of whiffs and weak barrels off his mix. Has a great frame to fill into with arm talent, worked the heater up to 78-mph that had some cutting action to it paired with a tight curveball featuring a late bottom. Mix tunneled very well, filled up the zone and attacked hitters with his mix; velocity jump is coming soon.
Dylan Langstaff
LHP - 2027 - Castle Rock, CO
Virginia Tech
Plus plus frame for the age with tons of lean strength and athleticism present already. Has some nice two way components in the profile; easy and low effort delivery, cuts the heater naturally and can land a nice curveball with healthy shape and some bite. Caught barrels in the box all weekend, put one over the centerfield fence in addition to multiple hard hit singles to all fields.
Cooper Vais
RHP - 2027 - Arvada, CO
Texas
Advanced frame for the age with legit athleticism in every facet of the game. Up to 82-mph on the bump with nice little three pitch mix, showing lateral slider in the upper 60's paired with a downer 12/6 shaped curveball. Solid actions defensively at shortstop that handled every chance, solid arm across and scorched a double over the CF's head in game.
Eric Sabala
SS - 2027 - Scottsbluff, NE
Uncommitted
Pretty ridiculous projectability in the box for Sabala given his current age & class, showing a true feel to handle the stick. Above average plate coverage skills & body control, using the whole frame to generate impact off the barrel. Pretty clean swing, moves well and the arm plays way above listed height and weight.
Josh Byler
2B - 2027 - Castle Rock, CO
Uncommitted
Byler sprayed doubles all over the yard in the second day of action. Smooth left-handed stroke with some ability to create extension and impact it out front, has a nice gap to gap line drive approach with a good idea in the box.
Dalton Marsh
RHP - 2027 - Lakewood, CO
Uncommitted
Marsh had one of the most projectable frames at the event with a 6'0/135 body. So much room to fill in and add strength, interesting two way ability as he hit his way onto the Top Prospect list with four solid barrels in game for knocks. Arm works well on the mound, loose operation up to 74-mph with developing feel to spin the curveball.
Aziah Gonzales
SS - 2027 - Albuquerque, NM
Uncommitted
Gonzales blasted a homerun over the LF fence in addition to numerous solid barrels off a variety of velocity. Displayed the ability to make mid-flight adjustments and decelerate the process if needed on spin, accurate barrel with hitterish tendencies in the box. Above average runner for class, projects in all parts of the game with additional strength and size.
Brady Wright
3B - 2027 - Denver, CO
Uncommitted
Smooth fielding middle infielder with crisp actions and footwork laterally. Accurate arm across aided by quick funnels and transfers, showed a real ability to handle the stick as well. Up to 75-mph off the bump.
Advait Jadhav
RHP - 2027 - Castle Pines, CO
Uncommitted
Solid three pitch mix on the bump, grabbing 78-mph on the gun with the four seam and worked it east/west well in the early going. 2-plane slider mixed in with some decent shape, flashed diving change in-between innings that killed spin nicely. Strength plays in the box as well, collecting multiple hits in game to all fields.
Bryson Bellapianta
OF - 2027 - Parker, CO
Uncommitted
Extremely advanced, physical frame for the age; took the best round of infield at the 13/14u portion of the event with solid arm strength and hands that flat out work. Strength translates all over, produced high exit veloicites for the class with wood as well.
Henry Christy
SS - 2027 - Denver, CO
Uncommitted
Had a nice showing this weekend, showing an ability to play the left side of the infield comfortably with advanced actions for the class. Created quality at-bats in every chance he got, worked counts and showed above average plate discipline off some solid velocity.
Tyler Johnson
1B - 2027 - Grand Junction, CO
Uncommitted
Displayed ridiculous pitchability in his start, working the low 70s fastball all around the zone and controlling it with comfort. Consistently generated weak contact and grounders, really swept the breaking ball as well with a lot of feel. Showed some components to like in the box as well, displaying above average bat speed.
Gavin Marsh
OF - 2027 - Lakewood, CO
Uncommitted
Lanky prospect with lean strength right now that plays in game. Smoked a sacrifice fly to deep right-centerfield, up to 76-mph off the bump with a projectable frame and athleticism.
Cole Bobbin
SS - 2027 - Highlands Ranch, CO
Uncommitted
Bobbin showed some intrigue on both sides of the ball over the course of in game action, running his four seamer up to 77-mph with more in the tank from an athletic, thin frame. That success translated over in the box as well, as Bobbin barreled up three doubles to all fields.
2028 Top Prospects
Ashton Santomo
OF - 2028 - Highlnds Ranch, CO
Uncommitted
Extremely projectable '28 here, hitterish tendencies in the box with serious range and athleticism out at shortstop. Uses entire body well to get the most out of the current frame, moves extremely well for size and will be one to monitor in the coming years.
Connor Thrush
RHP - 2028 - Aurora, CO
Uncommitted
Arm really works for a smaller bodied '28; up to 76-mph right now developing feel for the zone paired with a low 60's spinner. Arm works well for the class and has a chance down the road with additional size and mature strength.
