Jacob Holm is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Tall and slender athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has athletic actions and shows quickness and range in all directions, clean glove work with a quick exchange, very good carry on his throws when on top. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a high back elbow load and an inward toe tap timer, line drive swing plane, has bat speed and creates big jump and some left center field carry when he's on time, can be more consistent getting sync'd up into his swing. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a fluid medium length arm action, gets downhill and finishes over his front side well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some carry up and run down. Slider showed some sweeping depth in the low 70's, tended to slow his operation on his change up. Athlete who should keep improving in all areas as he matures physically. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
