3-Green v. 4-Red Game Highlights

8/10/2022

Jet Jones (2025 C, Londonderry, NH) showed off impressive arm strength in his three innings of work on the mound, as the immensely projectable right-hander ran his fastball up to 80 mph. He navigated all four quadrants of the strike zone and mixed in a promising 11-5 curveball for strikes. Added a loud single to left field, as the right-handed hitting 2025 Grad read spin out of the hand early and sat back to deliver the barrel.

Chase Donahue (2023 SS, Shirley, MA) was impressive across his three innings of work, as the athletic right-hander punched out four and allowed just two hits. He ran his fastball up to 82 mph from a quick three-quarters arm slot. He mixed in two distinct breaking balls with varying shape and speed to them. The slider shows best at present with sharp, horizontal tilt and late bite.

Matthew Chirumbolo (2025 RHP, Harwinton, CT) delivered a loud double early in the game to get things started offensively for the red squad. He showcased loose, quick hands to deliver the barrel with authority and stayed on a tough pitch driving it deep to centerfield.

Nathan Clark (2024 OF, White River Junction, VT) used a quick, direct swing path to deliver the barrel on his loud double to centerfield to get things rolling for the green team offensively.

Jack Sumner (2024 RHP, Brooklyn, CT) collected two hits in this one, as the 2024 Grad showcased good feel for the barrel and a compact, short stroke. He implores good lower usage and adjust well from pitch-to-pitch.

Nicholas Barlow (2025 OF, Canajoharie, NY) showed off impressive bat-to-ball skills as he collected two singles in this one. He stays short and direct with his hands and delivers the barrel with compact present bat speed.

Eddie Kaufman (2023 OF, Throop Pa, PA) continued to impress with two more hits in this one. The twitchy outfielder has good feel for the barrel and has plenty of present bat speed. He uses the whole field effectively and flashed some power potential.

1-Royal v. 2-Royal Game Highlights

8/10/2022

Max Re (2026 1B, Lexington, MA) started things off for the white team, as he scorched a loud single to left field to get things going. He uses his strong lower to torque the barrel quickly and impacted the baseball with some authority.

Conor Forkey (2026 3B, Fairport, NY) collected two hits in this one including a loud triple down the left field line, while also spinning two scoreless innings on the mound. He ran his fastball up to 79 mph and punched out five along the way.

John Biskupiak (2025 C, Canton, CT) continued to swing a hot bat in this one, as he scorched a loud double down the left field line. Showed off his defensive skills as well by gunning out a runner attempting to swipe a bag. He used quick footwork out of the crouch and produced online accurate throw.

Bennett Xavier (2026 LHP, Mattapoisett, MA) continued to impress, as the 2026 Grad collected two hits and two RBI's in this one. The left-handed hitting LHP/1B incorporates a simple, repeatable stroke with sound barrel awareness and some quickness to his hands.

Joshua Skuce (2026 SS, Toronto, ON) was impressive on both sides of the ball, as the 2026 threw two scoreless innings on the mound and collected two more in this one. He ran his fastball up to 78 mph, mixed in a slurvy breaking for swings-and-misses and recorded four strikeouts along the way.

Ryan Lang (2026 SS, Hopkinton, MA) had himself a day, as the projectable 2026 collected two hits including an inside-the-park homerun in this one. The right-handed hitting shortstop stays loose with his hands, has feel for the barrel and produces compact bat speed.

Andrew Raymond (2025 C, Dunstable, MA) was impressive on the mound, as the 2025 primary catcher produced three scoreless innings and punched out four. He ran his fastball up to 79 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot and generated tight, sharp tilt to his slider for swings-and-misses.

Red vs. Green Highlights

8/9/2022

Ryan Peters (2024 RHP, Billerica, MA) came out pumping the strike zone with an upper-70s fastball, bumping 80 mph, while showing some cut action through the zone and comfortably getting to his glove side, missing bats throughout.

Thomas Mangieri (2023 RHP, Quechee, VT) countered in the bottom half of the inning with an upper-70s fastball of his own, striking out XXX throughout his three innings of work while spinning a breaker in the 63-65 mph range with short depth.

Colin Flynn (2023 OF, Dorchester, MA) kept the score tied in the bottom of the first as he came up gunning from center field and delivered a one-hop strike to the plate to get the runner in a bang-bang play. In his first at-bat of the game Flynn showed off quick hands, turning around a well barreled single down the left field line.

Both Jackson Lizzotte (2024 C, Old Town, ME) and Ryan O'Leary connected for well struck singles back up the middle for the Red team, helping spark a small rally in the first.

David Pengel (2025 SS, Avon, CT) continued to impress on the opening day after a strong showing in the drills, driving a line drive single back up the middle for a solid knock. He finished the day going a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish.

Ben Miller (2025 SS, Rehoboth, MA) picked up a knock into shallow center field to jump start the Green offense, before stealing second base, after showing off his athleticism with a nice charge play at third base.

Chase Donahue (2023 SS, Shirley, MA) put one of the better swings on the ball throughout both games, keeping his hands back and making a mid-swing adjustment on a breaking ball down in the zone, dropping the barrel head and sending a single into left field.

Cooper Tarlie (2025 C, Newton, MA) turned on a ball later in the game, spinning the pitch around for a well barreled double down the left field line.

Camden Rhude (2024 C, Saratoga Springs, NY) made his presence felt with a deep drive out to left field, turning around a 79 mph fastball for a no-doubt blast, brining the fans to their feet while adding another tally to Red's total.

Matthew Chirumbolo (2025 RHP, Harwinton, CT), who showed well on the mound, also took care of business at the plate as the left-handed bat went with an outer half pitch and split the gap for a double while driving in a run as well.

Alex Hee (2024 RHP, East Walpole, MA) showed the best fastball of the day, running his heater up to 81 mph with some jump out of his hand. It was the feel for his secondary pitches though that stood out later in the outing as he showed late fade to his changeup and comfort to double up the breaking ball for strikes.

White vs. Royal Game Highlights

8/9/2022

Joshua Skuce (2026 SS, Toronto, ON) had a nice day at the plate, making the trip down from Toronto, collecting a pair of doubles to his pull side with a couple RBI to help propel the Royal team to a day one victory.

Brian Stone (2026 OF, New York, NY) followed up Skuce early in the game and brought him around to score with a base knock of his own as part of a multi-hit game. He also closed things out on the mound with a fastball up to 71 mph, showing cutting life to his glove side.

Speaking of multi-hit games, John Biskupiak (2025 C, Canton, CT), Tyler Garrett (2026 OF, Scarborough, ME), Jake Downie (2026 MIF, Glenmoore, PA) and Logan Lafferty (2027 SS, Fairhaven, MA) all had two hit games as the Royal offense never stopped swinging the bat from the opening frame to the last.

Conor Forkey (2026 3B, Fairport, NY) connected for hte loudest barrel of the day, sending a deep drive out to left field for a standup double that bounced high off of the wall, jumping off of the bat.

Though a primary catcher, Andrew Raymond (2025 C, Dunstable, MA) made the defensive play of the game out in left field for the White team as he came charging in on a sinking line drive to make a fully extended diving catch before popping to his feet and doubling up the runner at second base to end the looming threat.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/9/2022

Gianni Vora (2025 SS, Niantic, CT) showed a longer stroke through the zone with comfort to work back up the middle, though he wasn’t afraid to utilize all fields while keeping his hands inside the baseball and showing a handle for the barrel.

Alex Hee (2024 RHP, East Walpole, MA) utilized a shorter, handsy stroke throughout his round of BP, creating a loud sound off of the barrel when squared to the middle and pull side parts of the field, showing occasional carry coming off.

Dominic Dumont (2025 SS, North Berwick, ME) came out swinging the bat with intent, looking to do damage with each swing. He shows nice fundamentals in the box while getting extended out front and projects nicely moving forward with added physical strength.

Kevin Rosa (2023 C, Dorado, PR) connected for the first home run of batting practice as the right-handed hitting catcher put his strength on display, getting extended out front while creating some separation in his swing and showing the strength in his hands.

Ben Miller (2025 SS, Rehoboth, MA) showed a consistent feel for the barrel, squaring up line drives around the field while remaining compact through the zone with his right-handed stroke. He projects well with added strength.

Cooper Tarlie (2025 C, Newton, MA) possesses plenty of quickness in his hands while generating lift in his swing path, showing some strength at the point of contact and he’ll continue to unlock more as he continues to refine in the box.

Danny Tambascia (2024 1B, Newton, MA) took one of the louder rounds of batting practice, showing fast hands and some real intent to turn on the ball and do damage. He gets extended out front and as he incorporates more leverage, the power should only continue to jump.

Jackson Lizzotte (2024 C, Old Town, ME) launched a home run of his own, showing off a handsy swing which packed a punch when squared up and on time. He shows a full path through the zone and plenty of comfort turning on the ball to the pull side.

David Pengel (2025 SS, Avon, CT) took a consistent round of batting practice, routinely finding the barrel while showcasing some of the better bat speed we saw on the day. He was comfortable to work the middle of the field but also turned on some balls and projects nicely moving forward.

Eddie Kaufman (2023 OF, Throop Pa, PA) incorporated his physical strength well into his right-handed swing, showing jump off of the barrel when squared. His best contact came when working on a linear plane as he showed with a well struck ball off the wall in deep left field.

Joshua Skuce (2026 SS, Toronto, ON) gets the barrel out front in his swing, creating some lift at the point of contact. He generates nice carry coming off of the barrel already, remaining on time and consistent with his swing path.

Taylor Reidy (2027 C, Worcester, MA) is one of the younger players in attendance as a 2027 graduate and as his round progressed, so too did the line drive contact. He works on a linear plane while getting separated out front and working to the middle of the field.

Conor Forkey (2026 3B, Fairport, NY) is a strongly built third baseman who utilized his strength well, getting his front foot down in time while generating some solid carry coming off of the barrel to the pull side part of the field.

Owen Miller (2026 C, Bellingham, MA) continued to progress throughout his round of BP, staying short to the baseball throughout. There’s comfort for finding the barrel while creating some stretch in his swing, connecting for a couple hard line drives toward the end of his round.
