Dylan Crews (2020 OF, Longwood, FL) is only a 2020 but he showed off his solid barrel skills, working all parts of the field. His hands are plenty quick and shows leverage while still projecting well moving forward with additional physical strength.
We’ve seen Judson Fabian (2019 OF, Ocala, FL) impact the baseball consistently in live action and the Florida commit showed well again this morning. He showed natural leverage to his swing path with an easy stroke and put one over the Monster while staying short to the ball.
A young Mississippi State commit, Calin (Cal) Smith (2019 OF, Peachtree City, GA) showed off a smooth and balanced stroke from the left side and exhibiting plenty of natural feel for the barrel. He projects well physically and shows loose hands and a quick stroke through the zone.
Roberto Moya (2020 C, Miami, FL) showed off his bat speed and strength combination, powering some balls to his pull side while staying short to the ball with natural loft.
Dylan Simmons (2019 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) might be listed as a primary pitcher but the Florida State commit truly impressed with the bat. Strongly built, Simmons showed plenty of feel for the barrel and was able to pull the ball consistently to his pull side with backspin off the barrel.
At 6-foot-2, 195-pounds William Sullivan (2019 1B, Orlando, FL) possesses plenty of physical projection but still impressed with his lefthanded swing. He showed nice balance to his swing and consistently hit the ball out front while back spinning balls to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
Connor Walsh (2019 SS, Niceville, FL) is a young Ole Miss commit and impressed with his overall athleticism as well as righthanded bat speed. His hands are plenty loose and he did a nice job of staying short to the ball while creating consistent line drive contact.
Isaac Nunez (2019 SS, Altamonte Springs, FL), a Florida commit, took a loud and consistent round of batting practice with easy natural loft to his pull side. He did a nice job of repeating his swing with easy hands and plenty of balance throughout.
Ryan Keenan (2019 OF, Lighthouse Point, FL) shows plenty of looseness to his swing as well as a natural feel for the barrel from the lefthanded batter’s box. The Vanderbilt commit stays balanced throughout his swing, connecting for hard line drive contact to all fields and projects well with additional physical strength.
Dylan Goldstein (2019 C, Southwest Ranches, FL) did a nice job of getting on line with his swing, generating nice momentum moving into his swing. He generates nice leverage to his swing plane with hand speed while creating back spin to the middle of the field.
Benjamin Rozenblum (2019 C, Coral Springs, FL) projects very well physically and already handles the barrel well while flashing strength off the barrel. Currently uncommitted, Rozenblum showed off quick hands and natural leverage off the barrel.
Coming down from Canada, Jaden Brown (2019 SS, Mississauga, ON) put his quick hands and loose righthanded stroke on display. Brown is currently uncommitted but put both a hit tool and power stroke on display, consistently impacting the ball off the Green Monster replica.
Jordan Carrion (2020 SS, Miami, FL) continued to impress after showing well in his infield session. He did a nice job of handling the barrel and was able to create consistent line drive contact to all fields with both quickness and fluidity to his hands.
Mykanthony Valdez (2019 3B, Davie, FL), already committed to Miami, showed lots of fluidity and looseness to his hands which helped to produce some of the easier pull side power on display at JetBlue this morning.
Jake Holland (2019 C, Miramar, FL) took an impressive round of batting practice, showing both his hit and power tools throughout his round. When he turned on the ball he was able to unlock big bat speed and strength while showing quality leverage at the point of contact.
