Shine Barran (2025 OF, Decatur, AL) strung together a quality round of batting practice, catching loud barrels into both gaps. The hands stay tight to the body and he has big strength that showed up often throughout this round.
Jayden Cunningham (2027 1B, Freeport, FL) impacted the ball to the pull-side throughout the round. He controls the levers well and has big bat speed. The power projects in a big way and it is already starting to show here.
Karter Perry (2026 OF, Pell City, AL) lived on the barrel throughout the round. He has quick hands and controls the barrel, showing the ability to impact the ball to all fields. It's a functional left-handed swing with obvious feel for the barrel.
Heath Davis (2027 OF, Valdosta, GA) showed really intriguing things throughout the round, firing the hands and finding the barrel at a high clip. He shows solid strength off the barrel and the body still projects in a big way.
Will Suslow (2026 OF, Los Angeles, CA) found the barrel a good bit throughout the round, hitting balls on the screws to all parts. It's a really simple and short swing with excellent feel for the barrel and should continue growing into more strength in the coming years too.
Jakaii Williams (2026 1B, Douglasville, GA) showed pretty interesting traits in the box throughout the round. He found the barrel a solid amount and the ball came off easy when in rhythm. It's a sound swing with solid feel for it.
Lawson Sheffield (2026 SS, Dallas, GA) impacted it to the middle of the field a good amount throughout the round. He has simple swing mechanics and repeats them well, showing quality feel for the barrel.
Carter Phillips (2026 3B, Anderson, SC) was on the barrel throughout the round, hitting the ball hard to all parts. It's a super simple right-handed swing with feel for the barrel and ability to impact it to both sides.
Dylan White (2027 SS, Dacula, GA) put together a strong round of batting practice, hitting the ball hard throughout. He has quiet hands and does a great job of creating length through the zone with strength off the barrel.
Paul Barnett (2027 SS, Mountain Brook, AL) showed solid adjustability in the hands throughout the round. It was one of the better right-handed swings that we saw and when in rhythm, produces some loud barrels to both gaps.
Apollo Bailey (2026 OF, Lawrenceville, GA) got the barrel extended often throughout the round and capped it with a homer halfway up the trees in right field. It's a short left-handed cut with impressive strength at impact.
