Cayden Frost (2021 OF, Cataula, GA) flashed a bigger leg kick while creating some separation at the dish. Sprayed the baseball gap to gap with some loud contact. Showed power to the pull side late in his round while getting the bat head out front. Simple, consistent swing with quiet hands.
Brett McHugh (2020 OF, Macon, GA) started from a spread out stance with an open front side before landing in a balanced, athletic stance. Quick hands to the baseball showing he could get extended, driving the baseball. Kept his weight on his backside throughout as he worked with a somewhat uphill swing path. Ball jumped off the barrel when squared up.
Canaan Koger (2020 OF, Gainesville, GA) utilized strong hands as he threw them at the baseball finding the barrel often. Dropped his hands before working into an uphill swing path creating some lift occasionally. Sprayed the baseball all over the park as he showed total barrel control.
Tanner Kim (2021 1B, Knoxville, TN) showcased one of the more physical swings today as he went on to sit into his stance with little weight transfer before throwing the bat head at the baseball. Pounded the baseball gap to gap with a quiet type
movement in the box. Short and simple with an uphill swing making some loud contact throughout his round.
Sam Stewart (2020 C, Gainesville, GA) proved he could get the bat head out front as he looked to do damage. He flashed big time bat speed as he went deep in the gaps. Showed he could also let the ball travel and drove it the other way with ease as well. Some of the loudest contact from the rounds today.
Jared Woodward (2020 1B, Woodstock, GA) showed one of the more physical skill sets while proving he could put it to use. He proved he could create separation while showing good use of weight transfers as well. Banging the baseball around gap to gap squaring the baseball up no matter where it was pitched.
Conner Faulkner (2021 1B, Fayetteville, GA) started from a balanced look with a closed front foot before attacking the baseball. Flashed some advanced bat speed while showing barrel control. Gap to gap approach looking to drive the baseball on a line. Upper half dominant swing showing good hand eye coordination throwing hands at the baseball finding the barrel often.
Edwin Bowman lV (2022 RHP, Suwanee, GA) proved he could drive the baseball for power as he went on to launch one over the left field fence. He utilized his lower half during the swing, firing his hips through while showing a linear swing path. He attacked the baseball out front creating some head turning noise off the bat.
Charles Tull (2020 C, Kennesaw, GA) started out his round feeling it out a bit before settling nicely into it. He went on to show some pull side pop before showing he could go gap to gap as well with good feel for the barrel. Short to it, long through it type swing that showed as projectable.
Peyton Sower (2020 1B, McDonough, GA) showcased one of the bigger frames during the rounds showing he could put that build to good use. Showcased he could get extended and pull the baseball for power while creating some loud wood in doing so. Proved he could drive it on a line back up the middle as well. Flashed some bat speed as well as he looked to hammer the baseball.
Ethan Lecca (2021 OF, Acworth, GA) flashed some of the better bat speed during the rounds as he started from a balanced stance with little movements. Turned on the baseball easily with very quick, strong hands relying on them to get the bat head out front. Somewhat downhill swing plane creating some backspin as he drove it deep into the leftcenter gap consistently.
Jerrod Miller (2021 2B, Savannah, GA) proved to have one of the more mechanically sound swings. Went on to create some separation as he sprayed the baseball all over the park on a line. Showed signs of power to the pull side as well. Very projectable swing if he adds more strength to the mix.
Trey Greer (2020 RHP, Mobile, AL) started with pinched knees and an open front foot before showing off some swing speed with good feel for the barrel. Consistent cuts while peppering the middle of the field with line drives. Proved he could get the bat head out front while creating some extension at times. Loud wood throughout the round
