Rashad Blount is a 2020 OF/1B, MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Pensacola, FL who attends Booker T Washington. Showcased a large frame with a lean, athletic type build. Long limbs proving to be projectable. Ran a 7.05 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder showing clean routes working well into the baseball. Full arm action with carry to throws starting to show. Relies on upper half to create all carry on throws. Soft hands with good feel for the position showing raw mechanics. Righthanded hitter starting from an open stance. Leg kick showing as he transferred weight into balanced hitting stance. Bat speed showing as a plus with quiet hands before. Simple approach hitting the baseball where it is pitched. Linear swing plane as the ball jumps off the bat when squared up. Outstanding Student.
