Luke Billings (2025 Prosper, Texas) showed the top-of-the-class two-way ability on Thursday. The Tennessee commit is coming off a loud spring and it’s leading to the summer, blistering a breaking ball to the deepest part of left-center that would be out in most high school parks. The strength, backspin and loft he produces is evident. It’s already a pro frame with high level athleticism and bat speed to match and significant power upside at the plate. Billings closed it out on the hill, living 88-90 mph and topped a 92 with real ride and heavy life at the top. He tunneled a sweeping 77-79 mph slider with great shape and bite, as well. The spin looks real combined with the strength at the plate gives him a significant power bat and arm ceiling.
