2020 Top Prospects

Addie Burrow  OF - 2020 - Spotsylvania, VA
Virginia

Burrow had a solid performance throughout the weekend following his commitment to UVA. A lefthanded bat, Burrow shows present bat speed and strength at the point of impact along with a strong arm from the outfield (87 mph) and solid running speed with a 6.60 60-yard dash.

Rody Martinez  C - 2020 - Union, NJ

Defensive standout behind the plate showed strong ability at the catcher position both in drills and in game. He showed the ability to throw well behind the plate with accurate throws both carrying his momentum into throws and while firing from his knees. He also showed a linear righthanded swing with the ability to hit the baseball out in front.

Mark Ferrari  RHP - 2020 - Athol, MA
Franklin Pierce

Ferrari offers plenty of physical projection moving forward as he stands at a long and lean 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. He uses his length well to generate leverage and downhill plane on his fastball which topped out at 85 mph in this look and paired it with a curveball that will continue to develop.

Caleb Rodriguez  SS - 2020 - North Brunswick, NJ
Kean University

The standout part of Rodriguez's game this weekend was his ability on the defensive side of the ball. He ran a 6.90 in the 60-yard dash and showed that quickness moving around the dirt with solid mobility and footwork along with soft hands to go alongside a short, line drive oriented swing at the plate.

Matt Shaw  SS - 2020 - Brimfield, MA
Maryland

Shaw is already committed to Maryland and he showed his tools all over the diamond. He's full of quick twitch muscle as his 6.80 60-yard dash time suggests and he's physically built at 5-foot-10, 180-pounds, allowing for solid bat speed through the zone and jump off of his barrel when squared.

Ruben Pichardo  OF - 2020 - Cliffside Park, NJ
Barry

Pichardo performed well both during the drills portion of the event as well as in live action. He ran a 6.89 in the 60-yard dash and threw and impressive 87 mph from the outfield while also showing some barrel skills at the plate with jump off of his barrel when squared.

Oscar Scott  RHP - 2020 - Sea Bright, NJ

Scott's arm strength was on display throughout the weekend, first throwing 86 mph from his primary position in the outfield before topping out at 84 mph on the mound. At the plate he does a nice job of creating leverage to his swing with present pop and he'll continue to unlock more with additional lower half utilized.

Michael Cacioppo  SS - 2020 - Springfield Township, NJ
Bloomsburg (PA)

After running a 6.97 in the 60-yard dash Cacioppo went on to put the rest of his tools on display during the event. He moves well defensively and has the arm strength for the left side while showing softness to his hands and some power potential from the right side of the plate.

Brandt Sullivan  3B - 2020 - Staten Island, NY
Pace

Sullivan moves with plenty of athleticism in the infield and a loose arm. His bat plays as well with a rotational swing and looking to impact the baseball, but it was his tools in the infield that really stood out at the event. His footwork really plays and his throws show carry across the diamond.

Clayton McAllister  C - 2020 - Swanton, VT
Johnson and Wales University

McAllister made the trip down from Vermont and showed off his array of tools throughout the weekend. He stays short to the ball with his righthanded swing and is able to create leverage out front and also displayed some of the better arm strength behind the plate with a top throw of 82 mph.


2021 Top Prospects

Jonathan Santucci  OF - 2021 - Leominster, MA
Duke

Santucci opened eyes this weekend in New York, showing off his big arm strength from the outfield with a top throw of 95 mph before running his fastball up to 88 mph with a hard slider. He's a primary outfielder who also showed solid juice from the left side and is able to drive it the opposite way.

Miles Langhorne  RHP - 2021 - Greenwich, CT
University of North Carolina-Charlotte

Tied for the top fastball velocity of 88 mph on the mound belonged to Miles Langhorne. The righthander has a physical frame with plenty of arm strength present from a loose arm stroke while featuring a curveball that he is comfortable executing in any count. The heater features natural cutting action and his overall pitchability is advanced as a 2021 graduate.

Sam DiLella  RHP - 2021 - Wayne, PA
Elon

DiLella was a pitcher only during the weekend who took the mound on Sunday. His fastball topped out at 85 mph with a sharp breaking ball for swings and misses. The arm works through the back with a clean arm action and comes out clean as well. He did a nice job in his outing working to both sides of the plate with his two pitch combination.

Matthew Mariano  RHP - 2021 - Clifton Park, NY
Uncommitted

Mariano throws with a compact arm action and topped out at 87 mph on the bump. He maintained his velocity throughout his outing on the mound with an uptempo delivery and intent. The frame projects some at 6-foot, 180-pounds while the 2021 graduate is still developing a secondary offering.

Jacob Veczko  OF - 2021 - Monroe Township, NJ
Dayton

Veczko showcased his power at the plate throughout the weekend both in batting practice and in game action. His swing can produce jump off of the barrel as it did at the event producing a home run in both batting practice and in game. There is leverage to his path and will only getting better with improved ability to hit the baseball out in front.

Josue Valdez  C - 2021 - Bronx, NY
Villanova

One of the top catchers at the event was 2021 graduate Josue Valdez who popped a 1.92 behind the plate and showed plenty of juice at the plate. He has a big leg lift at the plate and whips the barrel through the hitting zone and produces plenty of jump off of his bat. Behind the plate the mechanics are relatively raw with quickness to movements.

Mike Sirota  SS - 2021 - Queens, NY
Northeastern

Sirota is an all-around talent in the infield and outfield as well as at the plate. His arm strength stands out as well as his power potential at the plate. His balance and athleticism are apparent in his actions at both of his positions and his versatility is impressive. The righthanded hitter has a direct swing with quickness and fluidity that really impressed as he showed a true ability to handle the barrel.

Jack Clothier  OF - 2021 - New York, NY
Trinity College (Connecticut)

Clothier is an athletically built outfielder standing at 6-foot-3. He uses a longer arm action to produce average arm strength from the outfield, but what he showcased at the plate is what projects well. His swing is quick with extension and jump to his pull side when hitting the ball out in front.

Everett Keuter  RHP - 2021 - Binghamton, NY
Uncommitted

Everett Keuter is a tall and athletic framed righthander with a fastball that topped out at 84 mph and projects for more. He works across his body for deception to opposing hitters while also showing cut to his fastball. He flashed a slider with some feel as well, but the overall projection is intriguing.

Aidan Dolinsky  RHP - 2021 - New York, NY
NYU

Dolinsky only pitched at the event and reached the mid-80s with his heater. The arm action is long and he throws with intent while mixing in three pitches with the fastball and curveball being the two pitch weapons. The curveball is tight with very sharp and projects really well moving forward.

Scott Gilbert  LHP - 2021 - South Abington Twp, PA
Bloomsburg (PA)

Gilbert is a lefthanded pitcher who made the trip from Pennsylvania and showed a low-80s fastball up to 83 and projects for plenty more moving forward. The southpaw pitches from an over the top arm slot and a strong feel for the strike zone with both his fastball and 12-6 curveball.

Josh Keevan  LHP - 2021 - Holden, MA
Massachusetts at Lowell

Keevan is a primary lefthanded pitcher but also showed two-way potential as a righthanded hitting outfielder as well. The southpaw topped out at 83 mph with a slight crossfire delivery and a quick arm stroke while also offering up a swing-and-miss curveball. From the outfield he showed similar arm strength as on the mound, while his swing is repeatable with a feel for the barrel at the plate.

Jeremy Delamota  OF - 2021 - Corona, NY
Albany

Delamota has plenty of easy strength from his hands at the plate and can run as well. The righthanded hitting outfielder showcased his carry off of the barrel to all parts of the field. He ran a 6.91 second 60 yard dash and topped out at 81 mph from the outfield with athleticism to his actions.


2022 Top Prospects

Zachery Broderick  LHP - 2022 - Fairfield, CT
Merrimack

Broderick put his two-way abilities on display this weekend, both on the mound where he ran his fastball up to 82 mph as well as with the bat from the left side. There's solid strength to his hands at present and he does a nice job of creating leverage and unlocking the strength at the point of contact.

Devan Kodali  OF - 2022 - New York, NY
Vanderbilt

One of the younger players in attendance still managed to run a sub-6.80 second with quickness that shows up in game in the outfield. His athleticism stands out both with his outfield actions as well as at the plate in his swing. His swing is fluid with looseness to his hands and projectable strength off of the barrel.

Sam Harris  LHP - 2022 - Windham, NH
Uncommitted

Harris stood out with his bat with plenty of projectability at the plate for his young age. The rising sophomore in high school has quickness to his hands and plenty of bat speed through the hitting zone. The swing is direct with whip to his barrel and plenty of strength at impact already. Harris will be an interesting player to follow in the years to comes especially in the lefthanded batter's box.

Nicholas Vega  OF - 2022 - Bronx, NY
New Jersey Tech

Vega offers both present strength as well as projectability at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. There's no doubting the juice in his righthanded swing as he put it on display throughout BP with strength to his hands, though he also showed a strong arm from the outfield with a top throw of 87 mph
