Sam DiLella is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Wayne, PA who attends Radnor. Medium and athletic frame with plenty of room to continue to fill out physically. Only pitched at the event, primary righthanded pitcher, works to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions, repeats his mechanics and varies speeds well, uses a quick arm action at take back up to a 3/4 arm slot. Consistently pounded the zone with fastball and showed the ability to locate to each edge of the plate, fastball topped out at 85 mph on the mound with late life, offered a curveball with 12-6 shape and tight spin with late depth, breaking ball was a wipeout offering accompanying the fastball. Good student. Named to 2019 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
