Caleb Rodriguez is a 2020 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from North Brunswick, NJ who attends North Brunswick Twp. Medium and lean frame with plenty of athleticism. Ran a 6.90 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield, fields the baseball out in front with two hands, clean hands were showcased throughout the event, shows plenty of balance and mobility laterally, ball comes out cleanly from a compact arm action, produced average arm strength across the diamond topping out at 82 mph. Righthanded hitter, uses a leg lift trigger into contact, hands take a compact path to contact, hits off of front side with an uphill swing plane, line drive contact working to all parts of the field, stood out in game action especially in the middle infield. Good student. Named to 2019 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
