2026 Top Prospects
Ethan Williams  RHP - 2026 - Vacaville, CA
Sacramento State

Williams was one of the better performing bats, showed upside on the mound, and looked solid on the dirt as well. Williams collected three extra base hits in his two games and they were all to the opposite field. His loose/quick hands throw the barrel on a flatter path through the zone which gives his swing good depth. In the INF, he has light feet with present glove skills and an arm that looks to stay on the left side. That arm also played on the mound as well where he was up to 79 with his fastball and mixed a high upside low 70s slider that was up into the 2600 rpms.

Cael Rivera  RHP - 2026 - Ridgecrest, CA
Uncommitted

Worked a clean couple of innings in relief for Gold-10 without allowing a run and striking out 5. He gave up one hit and struck out 5 out of the 7 batters he faced. He showed a really clean operation with a fluid downhill delivery. Fastball sat 75-76 while topping out at 78. The curveball has 11-5 shape with some sweep.

2027 Top Prospects
Max Smaldino  RHP - 2027 - Ladera Ranch, CA
Uncommitted

Got the start for Green-11 on Saturday at the PG All-State Showcase and impressed. He went 3 innings without allowing a run and struck out three. He ran his fastball up to 81 while sitting 77-79 throughout the outing. He coupled that with a breaker that had sweep to keep the hitters off balance. Really good outing for Max.

Ethan Dang  SS - 2027 - Chula Vista, CA
Uncommitted

Came into the game in a relief effort for Maroon 12 on day one of the PG All-State Showcase. He worked 2 innings and struck out three without allowing a run. He threw his fastball that sat 76-78 with excellent arm side run. He coupled that with a big sweeping breaking ball that had hitters waving at balls. He stayed around the zone throughout the outing with an efficient two innings.

Quinton Hill  OF - 2027 - Berkeley, CA
Uncommitted

Features a long, lean, projectable pitchers frame. He worked two innings of relief at the PG All-State Showcase. In those two innings he ran his fastball up to 81 while sitting 78-79 mostly during the outing. His curveball sat 64-65 with 12-6 shape and late depth. He did a nice job locating throughout the outing.

Corey Cole  RHP - 2027 - Farragut, TN
Uncommitted

Features a tall, lean, athletic, projectable pitchers frame. He came into the game in a relief appearance for Gold-10. His makeup jumps out immediately. He has long arm action which lead to excellent movement on his fastball that topped out at 80 and sat 77-78. His breaking ball sat 63-65 with sweep. Some control issues were on display but the overall projection is hard not to see.

Logan Mull  C - 2027 - San Jose, CA
Princeton

Features a compact, athletic frame and got the start for Columbia Blue on Sunday at the PG All-State Showcase. He went three innings without allowing a run and struck out 5. Fastball topped out at 80 while sitting 77-78 with solid arm side run. Showed swing and miss stuff with a hard breaking ball that had sweep and sat 72-73.

Lukas Franco  1B - 2027 - Granite Bay, CA
Uncommitted

Franco was the easy standout physical first baseman of this 14U group. Franco showed well with the bat with a loud BP that translated to several pull side barrels in-game. It’s easy bat speed due to some present strength and quickness to his hands that whip the barrel through the zone on a flatter path. He projects to be a powerful middle-of-the-order bat. Franco also does the job defensively at first showing solid fundamentals.

Ruben Servin  SS - 2027 - Pismo Beach, CA
Uncommitted

Was one of the better standouts during both the workout and gameplay portion. Servin worked out in both the OF and INF and showed quality actions from both spots. He then had one of the better BP rounds where he has a pretty rhythmic left-handed swing that translated in-game with multiple base hits to all fields. Servin also jumped on the mound where he was up to 76 with his fastball and flashed a decent changeup. It’s a lot of early skill from Servin and should be an intriguing follow as he adds strength and athleticism.

Rex Thompson  OF - 2027 - Scotts Valley, CA
Uncommitted

Thompson has an exciting offensive profile along with some upside on the mound. He put together a barrel filled round of BP to the pull side where he launched a couple of balls to the wall. Thompson keeps it simple with his lower half, gets his hands into a powerful launch position, and they explode to the baseball with some out front intent. Thompson also showed an above avg. arm from the outfield at 84 mph that translated to the mound where he ran his fastball up to 79 and mixed in a developing breaker in the mid 60s.

Landon Anderson  3B - 2027 - Cypress, CA
Uncommitted

Anderson performed well at the plate, in the field, and on the mound. The smaller framed utility player ran a quality 7.23 60-yard dash. He worked out in the OF and INF where he flashed fundamental and athletic actions with some above avg. arm strength. Offensively, he showed loose hands that deliver the barrel on a flatter path through the zone. On the mound, it was an athletic and repeatable operation where he filled it up with a mid 70s fastball with good feel for a depthy changeup and developing breaker.

Caleb Van Lant  OF - 2027 - Knoxville, TN
Uncommitted

Van Lant was solid on both sides of the ball throughout the weekend. Was one of the better athletes of the group where he ran the second best 60-yard dash at 7.17. On the defensive side, he showed quality actions where he works low to the ground and fields the backhand noticeably well. At the plate, it's a balanced swing where he delivers the barrel on a clean uphill bat path with some quickness. He collected hits in both games this past weekend.

Jonathan Thornton  C - 2027 - Corona, CA
Uncommitted

Showed well behind the plate and at the plate. Thornton has a balanced right-handed swing where he uses a controlled leg lift trigger that gets him loaded well and his barrel works on a clean bat path with present accuracy. That swing produced a barrel filled round of BP and some in-game ones as well. Behind the plate he exhibited solid catch/throw ability with a couple caught stealings during gameplay.
