2024 Top Prospects
Henry Parson
RHP - 2024 - Philadelphia, PA
Stevens Institute of Technology
Person has a strong 5-11/182 build and solid tools as a two-way third base/right handed pitcher. He's a 7.16 runner with a strong arm at third base and an 87 mph fastball with heavy sink on the mound. Person also showed plenty of pull power in his left handed bat.
Russell (Rusty) Haswell
RHP - 2024 - Hubert, NC
Uncommitted
Haswell has a compact athletic build and a full array of pitches from multiple arm slots and rarely throws the same pitch twice. He works up to 86 with a lively sinking fastball and has very good feel for a curveball, slider and change up. Haswell is the type who will make hitters of all types uncomfortable and off balance.
Marcello Rosanova
SS - 2024 - Chincoteague, VA
Chesapeake College
Rosanova has a mature look physically and also a pretty mature game as a middle infielder and left handed hitter. He graded out well across the board and will be the type who can play right away at the next level.
Corbin Mickle
RHP - 2024 - Charlotte, NC
Averett University
Mickle stands out for his very slender 6-5/170 build that could easily add 25-30 pounds of strength. He has a simple delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot that created big downhill angle on a fastball that topped out at 85 mph. A bit more strength and that velocity is going to shoot up quickly.
Aiden Perkins
OF - 2024 - Denver, NC
Uncommitted
Perkins has a strong athletic build and a nice set of tools, including an 89 mph arm from the outfield that also hit 84 mph on the mound with a swing/miss curveball. He's a right handed hitter with a mature and strong approach in the box.
2025 Top Prospects
Ben Green
MIF - 2025 - Matthews, NC
UNC-Asheville
Green is a strong bodied 6-1/180 shortstop with next level tools across the board. He ran a 6.89 sixty, showed mid-80's arm strength both in the infield and on the mound and made consistent hard contact from the right side, saving his best swings for the best pitcher's he faced.
Max Luzarraga
RHP - 2025 - Matthews, NC
Dallas Baptist
Luzarraga would be on this top prospect list as a left-hand hitting third baseman but he tops it as a right handed pitcher. He topped out at 90 mph with nice run down and ride up and over matched hitters with a 76 mph curveball with 2600+ spin. It's a high ceiling arm for sure.
Kaden Barnett
RHP - 2025 - Fort Mill, SC
Florence-Darlington Technical College
Barnett has a profile 6-3/170 young pitcher's build and big talent on the mound, especially since he has been pitching for less than two years. He worked consistently in the 84-87 mph range to go with a power curveball and has a high ceiling as he gets stronger and gets more experience.
Matt McKnight
3B - 2025 - Charlotte, NC
North Carolina
McKnight has an outstanding young 6-3/180 build that has plenty more growth potential and a nice combination of defensive tools that project at third base and offensive tools as a potential right handed power hitter.
Brayden Richards
1B - 2025 - Waxhaw, NC
Mars Hill
First baseman are supposed to hit and that's what the 6-1/195 right handed hitting Richards did all weekend, finding barrels almost every time he attacked a pitch.
Anthony Smith
RHP - 2025 - Harrisburg, NC
Coker University
Smith is a 6-2/170 primary outfielder but his future is likely on the mound. His arm action is fast and loose and he really gets downhill well, with big projection as he gets stronger. Smith topped out at 84 mph with lots more to come and snapped off some nasty curvball's with 2300+ spin.
Jonathan Fijalkowski
OF - 2025 - Charlotte, NC
Clarion University
Fijalkowski showed the ability to work both his fastball and slider around the zone. He creates nice late running action on the heater that sat 80-84 mph throughout his outing. His slider has sharp, short breaking action as it enters the hitting zone that keeps it off opposing hitter's barrels. He has a thin, athletic frame that will continue to add strength as he continues to develop.
2026 Top Prospects
David Lee
RHP - 2026 - Raleigh, NC
Uncommitted
Lee really stands out physically for a '26 at 6-5/200 and has low tension and repeatable mechanics on the mound that take advantage of his height and strength. He worked up to 88 mph with his fastball but his best pitch was a 80 mph slider with 2600+ spin that was simply an unhittable pitch at this level.
Maximus Wearing
1B - 2026 - Charlotte, NC
Rutgers
Wearing is a big and strong 6-0/205 left handed hitter with very advanced hitting skills and tools. He sees the ball exceptionally well and has plus bat speed with lots of all fields power when he fires his fast hands. His father, Melvin Wearing, played 14 years professionally as a power hitting first baseman and reached AAA with the Orioles.
Tate Nelson
RHP - 2026 - Wilmington, NC
UNC-Asheville
Nelson has outstanding natural actions at shortstop with an already advanced ability to play on the move to go with potential plus arm strength. He's only 6-0/140 but has fast hands at the plate and lots more bat speed than you'd expect from his size and age.
Peyton Kozink
RHP - 2026 - Durham, NC
Uncommitted
Kozink is a projectable 6-0/160 two-way prospect with very good actions at shortstop defensively but graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. He comes at hitters from a very fluid mid-3/4's slot with a three-pitch mix that included an 83 mph fastball, a dominating mid-70's slider and a nasty change up and threw strikes with all three.
Dylan Palmer
OF - 2026 - Middlesex, NC
Western Carolina
Palmer has a very strong 6-0/185 build for a 15-year old and the left handed bat speed to match it. He showed the ability to drive the ball hard to the oppo gap along with pulling it with some loft. Palmer also has very nice arm strength for a primary first baseman and can also play corner outfield.
Carter Thomasson
C - 2026 - Halifax, VA
Ferrum College
Thomasson is a strong bodied young catcher whose arm strength stood out both behind the plate and on the mound, where he was up to 82 mph with an outstanding change up. The right handed hitter has strong hands and a simple and direct swing that creates impact.
