Kaden Barnett is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Nation Ford. Long lean, super projectable frame perfect for a primary position pitcher. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. RHP using the full windup from the 1B side of the rubber. Quick overall cadence to his delivery, reaching tall posture over the rubber. Leg lift to just above the belt, working hands rhythmically up and down before breaking into an over the top arm angle. Really gains ground in his legs and creates excellent hip/shoulder separation. Good ride through the zone with the FB that peaked often at 87 mph with elite level spin traits. CB was a bit inconsistent on this day although it did project well with correct spin and occasional late sharp biting action. Really exciting prospect on the bump. Secondary OF, working through angles methodically with the glove out front and squaring up well to throw. Showed accurate arm strength here too up to 87 mph. RHH working from an even stance and a toe tap trigger to get started. Holds hands away from body and has a bit of length to contact. Pull oriented swing with emerging pop that showed when he stayed on plane. Multi-sport athlete with big time projection on the mound, who is also an elite performer in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
