2020 Top Prospects

Scott Harper  RHP - 2020 - Channahon, IL
Uncommitted

Harper was very strong in his innings on the mound. He works from a deceptive low slot that's difficult for righthanders to pick up on. His fastball shows good sinking and running life through the zone at 83 MPH with more to come. His secondary pitch really displays potential in a slider with very sharp movement that fooled hitters all game.

Korey Bunselmeyer  RHP - 2020 - Ava, IL
Rend Lake College

A strong 6-foot, 197-pound frame, Bunselmeyer is able to create solid arm speed on the mound from the right side. He creates heavy downhill life on his fastball topping out at 85 MPH. In the lower velocity belt he is able to also add on some slight running actions. He mixes in a softer curveball in the bottom of the zone. As he continues to improve upon his command he will be a prospect to watch.


2021 Top Prospects

Al Holguin  1B - 2021 - Chicago, IL
South Carolina-Upstate

The large framed Holguin was definitely a player that caught the attention of scouts from the moment he stepped on the field. He's got present strength through his frame and utilizes it both in the field and at the plate. He's fluid at first base with quick exchanges and a strong arm across the diamond. In the box he creates hard, lifted carry of the barrel while being able to consistently square up contact.

Sam Holtz  SS - 2021 - Hawthorn Woods, IL
Lehigh

An uber-athletic shortstop with a lot of quick twitch in him. Works around the ball well with smooth hands out in front. Solid range in all direction with some carry out of the hand that should continue to improve. At the plate he employs a quick and compact barrel path making consistent hard contact to the middle and pull side of the field.

Michael Rivera  MIF - 2021 - Gurnee, IL

Michael Rivera is a very athletic player, running a 6.93 second 60. He's a strong defender up the middle as well showcasing some quick twitch actions working through the baseball and towards the bags. He's got solid hands out in front and into transfers with some arm strength at 81 MPH. At the plate he's got a smooth stroke through a line drive path working hard contact back up the middle of the field

Ben Plumley  RHP - 2021 - Chicago, IL
Illinois

Plumley, a Chicago native, has an athletic 6-foot frame that hasn't reached full maturity yet. His primary position is on the mound where he shows a clean stroke with a repeatable delivery and some arm speed into his release running the fastball up to 84 MPH. In the field he shows smooth actions and quick and concise exchanges.

Kole Krier  3B - 2021 - Maple Grove, MN
St. Cloud State

Krier was impressive in several areas of the game. He works with loose actions in the outfield and keeps the ball low and on a line topping out at 83 MPH. At the plate he has the ability to really get the ball elevated on a positive trajectory to the gaps. He also performed well on the mound able to throw three pitches for strikes and generating some swing and miss.

Ryan Sauter  3B - 2021 - Olathe, KS

Sauter is a large and strong 6-foot-3 and he utilizes the strength well both defensively and at the plate. He's a third baseman with solid glovework out in front and hard and accurate throws at 84 MPH. In the box he displays a longer path to the baseball creating a strong lever and driving the ball to the gaps.


2022 Top Prospects

Jacob Morrison  RHP - 2022 - Flushing, MI
Coastal Carolina

Morrison was among the top players at the event. He's matured well physically with a large frame and strength in his lower half. On the mound he works with a balanced delivery driving down the mound well creating some life on his fastball at 83 MPH. He also squares the baseball up well at the plate with quick hips into his swing.

Trevor Busyn  RHP - 2022 - Clarkston, MI
Central Michigan

The Michigan native showed a solid all-around weekend performing well on the mound with a lot of strikes and curveball/changeup mix to pitch off his straight fastball. He was also strong at first base with quick transitions and fluid glove actions. In the box he has raw power that when squared can generate hard carry off the barrel.

Hayden Mileski  OF - 2022 - Lakeville, MN
Tulane

Mileski is a very solid athlete performing well from both the outfield and the infield showing quickness in his strides and being mechanically sound with everything he does. He has a fluid swing at the plate looking to get under the ball and generate lift. He can get into a strong rhythm and drive the ball to the pull side gap with authority.


2023 Top Prospects

Tristan Head  SS - 2023 - Jupiter, FL
Virginia

The Nazareth Academy shortstop was a solid bat from both the left side, as well as the right during the batting practice portion of the event. He displayed the ability to work contact to all fields creating bat speed through the zone. In the field he funnels the ball well and creates accurate carry to first base.
