Andy Roman (2023 C, Geneva, IL) Swings the bat with intent on a naturally leveraged plane. Already produces bat speed creating solid jump off the bat when squared. Raw power that should continue to improve with size.
Sunshine Midwest
Trevor Kiser (2021 SS, Rose Hill, KS) An athletic frame with a wide and slightly open stance, showing a direct path into contact. Rotational hitting actions working the ball to the pull side of the field with consistent hard contact off the barrel. Drives the ball to the deeper parts of the field while showing raw power in the bat.
Tyler Rueckert (2020 C, Prior Lake, MN) Creates barrel speed through a line drive plane with an athletic body and torque in the hips. Gets the bat through with intent and generating natural lift at contact. Gets behind the ball well and working to the pull side with solid jump off the barrel.
Drew Woodcox (2020 SS, Houston, TX) Took one of the most consistent batting practice sessions of the day. Really creates high end bat speed while staying on a compact path through the zone. Can drive the ball with authority to all fields but really creates leverage when working to the pull side gap. Drove several hard hit balls deep, as well as driving a couple of balls out of the yard.
Kolby Gartner (2020 RHP, Albertville, MN) Wide stance to start utilizing a leg lift trigger to help create hand speed into swing. Works to a line drive plane controlling the barrel well while also being able to create leverage at the point of contact. Stays on the backside into rotational action and keeping the ball on the pull side of the field.
Corey Graham (2018 OF, Hazel Crest, IL) Very athletic in the box producing big time barrel speed with quick and compact hands to the baseball. More of a contact oriented swing through a line drive path but can impact the ball and drive it to the gaps where the speed will play a big factor in live games.
Braeden Lock (2022 RHP, Highlands Ranch, CO) Large frame in the box and utilizes it well. Has strength in the bat and works into an elevated bat path. Best contact comes when working to the middle of the field. Can also control the barrel well and consistently square up the ball when the jump works well.
