Braden Reilly is a 2023 RHP/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Wilmington, IL who attends Coal City. Primary right-handed pitcher. Young and solid frame with present strength and athleticism. Compact arm action in the back that works into a three-quarters arm slot. Works from the windup with a side step delivery, into a medium high leg lift. Stays athletic and balanced throughout delivery. Fastball flashes some late arm side run at 73-77 miles per hour. Curveball with 12-to-6 shape has advanced spin and depth for age. Secondary infielder that fields out front with some developing actions with the feet and glove. Shuffles into throws at times with a compact arm path and accurate throws across the diamond at 77 miles per hour. Closed off and narrow stance at the plate with a leg lift trigger and rotational lower half. Developing barrel feel and control, stays on the back side throughout. Good student.
