Jameson Gottsch (2027, Edmond, Oklahoma) got things rolling with an opposite field triple, hit on a line. Good rhythm in the box, bat jumps off the barrel.
Gage Belknap (2025, Lewisville, Texas) added a booming triple to dead center field. Physical lower half that balances well, lots of projectable power.
Stephen Webber (2027, Boyd, Texas) added an absolute missile to dead center as well for a triple of his own.
CJ Hansford (2026, Bee Cave, Texas) worked with a good tempo to start the game for Purple. Fastball sat low to mid 80s and complemented it well with two separate breakers and a fading changeup.
Noah Entrekin (2025, Arcadia, Oklahoma) was loud out the gate for Columbia Blue. Fastball touched 89 with late life and landed a depthy curveball in the upper 60s. Dallas Baptist commit created tough angles for opposing hitters.
Julian Wang (2025, Plano, Texas) put together a multi-hit game. Swing stays on plane and does a nice job of staying short to the ball.
Leonardo Fonseca (2026, El Paso, Texas) barreled another triple the other way. Got hands inside on fastball and crushed one into the gap.
