Jett McBride is a 2027 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. John's. Primary 3B with a wiry and athletic frame. Showed good lateral range and got to his backhand well. One hand gather and funnel to chest out front. Took good angles to the ball and showed some footwork that should continue to get better as he polishes out. Gets it out at a decent pace and has a strong arm. Was up to 84 from the infield. Also pitched working out of the windup on the 3B side of the rubber. Belt high lift working downhill well. Has a quick up-tempo delivery to the plate. Fastball worked up to 84 but will need to be more consistent throwing strikes. Still showed good life to his fastball. Projectable on both sides of the ball and should continue to get better. Good Student.
