Brent Celis is a 2026 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-2 194 lb. frame from Rockwall, TX who attends Rockwall. Larger build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary third baseman, attacks the baseball with urgency and works through it well. Has a good internal clock with some rhythm to the feet. Showcased the ability to adjust his glove and arm on the run. Has plenty of present quickness in the shoulder. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 88 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch on the first base-side of the rubber. Lifts his front leg up to the midsection as the hands break at the chest and into a slightly deeper arm path. Accelerates into a low three-quarters release with some extension created as he works downhill. Located his fastball well in all four quadrants, showing some life and run to the arm-side while peaking at 81 mph. Mixed in a 12-6 curveball with gradual depth as well as a low-70s changeup with big arm-side fade to it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with loose hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a negative hover trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Has plenty of hand speed with present feel for the barrel. Attempts to meet the pitch out in front and create leverage to the pull-side or middle of the field. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran a 7.36 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 HS All State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
