Wilbert Javier Vargas (2019 OF, Oldsmar, FL) showed nice arm speed and a clean delivery on the mound, working in the 83-86 mph range with his fastball. The pitched showed nice life and the athletic righthander also flashed a curveball with swing-and-miss potential at 73 mph.

Michael Donnelly (2019 OF, Lawrenceville, GA) stands with a strong and broad shouldered frame on the rubber and does a nice job of hiding the ball while producing a fastball that worked 80-83 mph. Along with the fastball, he also mixed a curveball and changeup for strikes.

Underclass East

Yesiel Gonzalez (2021 SS, Caguas, PR) might be listed as a primary shortstop but he impressed on the mound, sitting in the mid-80s with his fastball while topping out at 87 mph. His fastballs shows late life through the zone with a quick arm stroke and flashed an impressive changeup with late fading life at 78 mph.

A University of Florida commit, Matthew Prevesk (2021 OF, Apopka, FL) impressed throughout day one as an outfielder with power in his bat before jumping on the mound today. He worked in the 80-82 mph range from the left side with nice angle while showing a slider up to 76 mph which he kept down in the zone.

Jackson Boggs (2020 OF, Augusta, GA) has a lean and projectable build on the mound and offers a quick arm action while working to a high three-quarters slot. His fastball worked 78-81 mph with sinking life when down and mixed in a sharp curveball with 11-5 shape and good bite.

Austin Coultas (2021 OF, Wesley Chapel, FL) does nice job of creating deception in his delivery with a full and loose arm stroke up to a high three-quarters slot to produce a fastball that worked in the 78-81 mph range. The velocity projects moving forward and he also shows nice spin on his slider with sharp 10-4 shape.

Christopher Hund (2021 SS, Woodbridge, VA) showed quickness to his right arm during his time on the mound and projects well physically moving forward. He ran his fastball up to 82 mph while working in the upper-70s and he kept the ball down well while showing fading life and maintains arm speed on his low-70s changeup.

Dylan Cupp (2023 SS, Cedartown, GA), a primary shortstop, showed well on during his time on the mound with his athleticism and loose arm action. He ran his fastball up to 80 mph but more impressive was the feel for his mid-70s cutter and changeup, mixing consistently while working in the zone.

Adrian Figueroa (2020 1B, Miami, FL) stands out at first sight with his 6-6/210 build and his left handed bat speed.  There's lots of future power in there, especially as he learns how to turn the barrel and hit the ball out front more consistently and take advantage of his advanced bat to barrel skills.

Gage Singer (2019 3B, Aurora, MO) has some mature physical strength and a simple spread/rock back approach that keeps him simple and well timed.  He made consistent hard line drive contact to the middle of the field with some jump off the barrel.

Kerlyn Vazquez (2019 OF, Santo Domingo, DR) is a young Dominican right handed hitter with leverage and some present strength in his 6-3/180 frame.  He had the bat speed and swing plane to create lots of back spin and get the ball to carry.

Trace Willhoite (2019 1B, Georgetown, KY) has a strong one-piece swing with lots of leverage and strength at contact.  The Louisville signee is going to keep adding strength to his already strong and lean 6-3/190 frame.

Kevin Sim (2020 3B, San Diego, CA) is ranked 68th in the 2020 class with a commitment to San Diego and the right handed hitter can hit the ball high and far to left centerfield.  It would have been fun to have watched him take this BP round at JetBlue Stadium in Fort Myers and watch six or seven balls go off the wall.

Derick Stager (2019 C, Odessa, FL) has a loose right handed swing with nice extension through contact and peppered the gaps consistently with hard line drives.  The 6-2/190 catcher has lots of physical projection.

Marc Church (2019 RHP, Atlanta, GA) made his mark on the mound later when he topped out at 92 mph but he was also impressive at the plate with an extended loose right handed swing with plenty of bat speed and power potential.

Zane Denton (2019 3B, Brentwood, TN) took one of the better rounds of the day and to make it more impressive, the Alabama signee did it from both sides of the plate, showing bat speed and strength in equal amounts  both right handed and left handed.

William Oliver Kelley (2019 OF, Newnan, GA) really extends through contact well  and has long arms for a 6-3/210 athlete as it is.  He showed some serious right handed power and squared up almost every pitch.

Dylan Rogers (2019 OF, Spartanburg, SC) has been a regular at PG events since his freshman year and this was one of his best batting practice rounds.  He turned on the ball aggressively with plus bat speed and really pulled it with authority.

Kenny Bell III (2019 SS, Hammond, LA) has lots of room to add strength to his lean 6-2/180 build but has a smooth and very projectable swing with some present bat speed and more to come.

Trippe Moore (2020 OF, Forsyth, GA) gets the ball into the air consistently and easily with a loose, low effort swing.  Wait until the lean 6-1/175 Georgia Tech commit adds some adult muscle to his very athletic build and the ball starts flying.

Jordan Phillips (2019 C, Pasadena, TX) has loose and quick hands and really gets them loaded well.  The left handed slugger fires them hard and creates lots of bat speed.
