Ronny Medina is a 2019 SS/RHP/C with a 5-8 181 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Compact athletic build, good strength. 7.13 runner, has second base actions and look on defense, has quick feet and circles the ball well, moves best side to side rather than towards the ball, has very good arm strength, would be interesting to see as a catcher as all the physical tools are there. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a short inside swing path, right centerfield orientation, is well timed and consistent, has the strength and hand quickness to expand his swing. Also pitched, solid two-way talent. Has a quick compact arm action and a simple delivery, fastball sat in the mid-80's, mostly straight, slider was a quality pitch with sharpness and depth, pounded the strike zone for a very quick inning.
