Ryan Galarza is a 2019 C/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Florida, PR who attends Christian Military Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.07 seconds. Hits from even-based, spread stance with deeply-coiled leg lift trigger, could shift into contact better in lower half, line drive swing plane through the zone with whole field approach, did a good job working to all fields on a line. Worked out behind the plate, good low set, quick feet out of crouch though rather stationary, shows athleticism, has quickness to release, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Good student.
