Jagger McCoy (2016, LHP, Boca Raton, FL) reached 80 mph and pitched mostly at 77-79 in his two inning outing. He struck out two batters. 

Alejandro Toral (2017, 1B, Davie, FL) smoked a hard line drive into right field in his first at-bat that registered 95 mph off the bat. 

Chase Sandman (2016, LHP, Peoria, AZ) worked at 81-84 mph over two innings of work, striking out two batters along the way.

Marc Soto (2016, RHP, Coral Springs, FL) worked around 78-80 mph with his fastball and pounded the zone consistently over his two innings of work. Soto struck out two.

Garrett Rukes (2016, Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) topped at 83 mph from a tough three-quarter slot, giving hitters different angles and speeds to contend with. He struck out four in two innings.

Cal Coughlin (2016, 3B, Lake Forest, IL) continued to his solid play, lining a sharp double to straight away center field.

Justin Sorokowski (2016, 3B/RHp, Mechanicsville, VA) has impressed with that bat this week and now has on the mound as well. He pitched at 82-83 mph in his one solid inning of work.

Thomas Dillard (2016, C, Cordova, TN) continued to crush the ball, as he produced a solid line drive single up the middle that registered 91 mph off the bat.

Eric Monroe Moll (2016, 1B, Kingwood, TX) also swung the bat well, roping a two RBI triple.

Michael Amditis (2016, C, Boca Raton, FL) kept his hands back and roped a hard line drive off the base of the left field wall.

Zach Jackson (2017, C, Haines City, FL) had his best swing of the day in the final game, lining a sharply hit ball into right field.

Quin Cotton (2016, OF, Parker, CO) hit a rocket into the right center field alley way in his final at-bat.

Parke Phillips (2016, C, Nokomis, FL) also ripped a double into the left field corner.

Michael Musselwhite (2016, SS, Lumberton, NC) finished off his day with a sharply hit single as well.

Seth Beer (2016, OF/RHP, Suwanee, GA) touched up to 86 mph in his one solid inning on the mound to close it out.

Lael Lockhart Jr. (2016, LHP, Friendswood, TX) worked consistently at 78-82 mph with his fastball, hitting as high as 85. He struck out the side in his second inning following a lightning delay. He ended up with four strikeouts in a strong two inning outing. 

Nathan Walker (2016, C/RHP, Carlsbad, CA) touched 88 mph with his fastball, living consistently at 81-85. He tossed three innings, struck out two and did not allow a run or a hit.

Nick Cheema (2016, C/RHP, Weatherford, TX) worked consistently at 86-88 mph with good sinking action on his fastball

Chase Cheek (2016, OF, Orlando, FL) lined a shot into right field, then used to his speed to stretch the hit into a double. 

Carlos A. Cortes (2016, 2B/LHP, Oviedo, FL) worked at 82-84 mph with his fastball, showing an ability to change speeds and keep hitters off balance. 

Hayden Freeman (2016, SS/RHP, Hoover, AL) worked one inning to close out the game and worked at 82-83 mph with his fastball. 

Jake Holtzapple (2016, 3B, Matthews, NC) continued his excellent hitting, driving a double deep into the left center field gap.

Todd Peterson (2016, RHP, Lake Mary, FL) worked at 86-89 mph and showed good arm speed over his two innings of work. He also mixed a solid 75 mph curveball. He struck out one batter.

Derek Wells (2016, RHP, Flower Mound, TX) topped at 85 mph and worked at 81-83 mph over his two innings of shutout baseball. He struck out two.

Jesus Luzardo (2016, LHP, Parkland, FL) pitched from a good downhill angle and stayed on top of a fastball at 89 mph. He located a sharp curveball and a late fading changeup.

Drew Mendoza (2016, SS, Minneola) launched a booming double to staightaway center field, showing big carry off his bat.

Joe Skinner (2016, 3B, Heathrow, FL) had one of the day's big swings even though it resulted in an out. He stroked a long drive to deep right center field, testing the limits of the expansive right center field at JetBlue.

Joey Wentz (2016, LHP, Leawood, KS) lived at 81-85 mph with his fastball, pitching two innings of scoreless baseball while striking out four.

Cal Coughlin (2016, 3B/RHP, Lake Forest, IL) tossed two innings, working at 84-86 mph with his fastball and spinning a sharp curveball. He struck out two batters.

Tyler Benninghoff (2016, RHP, Overland Park, KS) showed off an advanced three pitch mix, including a nasty late biting 11-5 curveball, which was the day's most impressive single pitch. He worked at 85-87 mph with his fastball and projects to add more. He pitched two scoreless innings.

Michael Bienlien (2016, RHP, Chesapeake, VA) worked at 85-87 mph with his fastball, flashing a 78 mph changeup and a 74 mph curveball. He tossed two innings and struck out four in an effective outing.

Riley Troutt (2016, RHP, Lakeland, FL) sat around 82-87 mph with his fastball over his two innings of work. He struck out two and allowed only one hit.

Reid Schaller (2016, RHP, Lebanon, IN) tossed one inning, picking up one strikeout. He worked at 85-88 mph with his fastball with good command.

Dylan Lester (2016, RHP, Brenham, TX) pitched at 84-87 mph with his fastball over his two innings of work. He struck out four batters.

Turner Scruggs (2016, RHP, Alpharetta, GA) showed off above average command of his late breaking curveball, tossing a dominant two innings, striking out six batters. He pitched at 82-84 mph with his fastball.

Mike Vasturia (2016, RHP, Medford, NJ) worked at 82-84 mph, topping out at 85 mph with solid command. Thanks for heavy sinking fastball, he induced six groundball outs in two innings 

Gian Luca Dalatri (2016, RHP, Wall, NJ) showed off an 85-87 mph fastball in his two innings of work, striking out three along the way. Also picked up an opposite field single. 

Ryan McDonald (2016, RHP, Charleston, SC) worked at 81-83 mph with his fastball, pitching a solid and effective two inning of work. 

Jake Holtzapple (2016, 3B, Matthews, NC) had arguably the game's best swing, as he ripped a double deep into the left field corner in the eighth inning. He also showed sound and often flashy defense at third base.

Bobby Nicholson (2016, RHP/3B, Charlottesville, VA) launched what ended up being a long single to the left center field gap in the eighth inning.

Noah Murdock (2016, RHP/1B, Colonial Heights, VA) also singled in the eighth. Cameron Locklear (2016, SS, Fayetteville) picked up a solid single as well.
Day 2 Batting Practice Highlights

6/10/2014

Red: 

Cameron Locklear (MIF-2016-Fayetteville, NC) shows fast hands from the right side which help produce easy bat speed from a balanced stance with consistent line drive contact to the middle and left sides of the field. 

Ronald Washington (OF-2017-Houston, TX) Although having just completed his freshman year, Washington showed some power beyond his years, driving a pitch far over the replica Green Monster in left field. He stays short to the ball and it jumps off his bat when squared up. 

Zach Weller (3B-2016-Coronado, CA) showed projectable strength and bat speed with some lift in his swing and carry off the bat when it's squared up. 

Hayden Freeman (SS-2016-Hoover, AL) has a fast bat and used it to create line drive contact throughout his round. He also showed interesting power for the right-side which should continue to develop nicely. 

Lael Lockhart Jr (1B/LHP-2016-Friendswood, TX) is a switch hitter who showed a strong feel from the left side. With a fluid swing and nice use of his lower half, Lockhart was able to create hard line drive contact to his pull side with lift to right field. 

Michael Neustifter (C-2016-Carrollton, TX) is a well built and strong 6-foot-3 and used that strength in his swing, with the ball jumping off the barrel to his pull side. He gets the bat quickly through the zone with lift in his swing. 

Mike Vasturia (RHP/3B-2016-Medford, NJ) showed a quick swing from the left side using a simple approach and mechanics at the plate. The ball carries well off the barrel and projects for more strength in the near future.

Royal:

Jake Clawson (3B-2016-Daleville, IN) creates nice extension in his easy swing and made consistent, hard contact to left field and put one ball over the Green Monster. 

Eric Monroe Moll (1B-2016-Kingwood, TX) has a very strong build with a quick bat and showed interesting strength in his right-handed swing that should be followed. 

Joe Rizzo (3B-2016-Oak Hill, VA) is a left-handed bat who showed interesting tools at the plate. With a short, fast bat path, Rizzo is able to create lift with strength at the contact point and drove one ball out down the right field line. 

Colton Welker (SS-2016-Coral Springs, FL) shows a loose swing with good bat speed and a fluid path to the ball, consistently barreling up the ball to his pull side. 

Gian Luca Dalatri (RHP/1B-2016-Wall, NJ) has begun to fill out his 6-foot-6 frame and it shows at the plate as he is able to lift the ball deep to left field with the ball carrying nicely off the barrel. 

Texas Orange:

Chase Cheek (OF- 2016- Orlando, FL) showed very quick hands that produced doubles power. While he lacks the strength to drive the ball out of the park at present, he has big projection and could overtake a lot of the hitters that are currently more impressive in terms of present power.

Riley Hogan (3B- 2016- Orlando, FL) was a convincing switch hitter, while he's more advanced from the left side he showed believable prospect level projection from the right side as well. He uses his lower half well and drove the ball well from the left side with pullside power.

Drew Mendoza (SS- 2016- Minneola, FL) showed good bat speed and projectable power. His BP session was impressive, taking long aggressive swings to generate good barrel whip. 

Joe Skinner (3B- 2016- Heathrow, FL) showed big time upside in BP, with easy bat speed that projects well with good weight shift through contact. His late trigger caused him to use his bat speed to catch up on several swings and it prevented him from having the type of results that make his upside obvious to everyone in the park, but those who were baring down certainly noticed just how well he accelerates the bat, and understands it's significance to his long term projection.

Carlos Cortes (MIF- 2016- Oviedo, FL) showed quick strong hands with a HR derby approach that included an impressive home run into the bullpen behind the right field fence. 

White: 

Brandon Chinea (MIF- 2016- Palmetto Bay, FL) showed a quick compact swing with a line drive plane and produced consistent hard contact. He should prove to be a tough out with that swing and offensive skill set and should make a lot of contact.

Mike Musselwhite (SS- 2016- Lumberton, NC) has a line drive stroke with quick hands and good hand-eye coordination.

Landon Silver (OF- 2016- Miami, FL) showed loose hands and a smooth swing that features solid present bat speed that projects well. He uses his lower half well and has the makings of power already with good carry off the bat. 

Cam Shepherd (SS- 2016- Duluth, GA) generates quality bat speed with a short simple swing that he control well in spite of swinging with a lot of effort.

Seth Beer (OF- 2016- Suwanee, GA) showed big leverage and raw power with easy bat speed and was one of the highest upside hitters of the day's BP session that included several of the top prospects in the nation.

Michael Amditis (C- 2016- Boca Raton, FL) showed big power with a loose swing that generated easy bat speed. He played ping pong with the Green Monster in left, hammering seven balls off of it in his 10 swings of the round. It was the highlight of the day's BP session.

Alejandor Toral (1B- 2017- Davis, FL) had the longest shot of the day, blasting a home run off of the back wall of the bullpen behind right field.
White vs. Texas Orange

Anthony Molina (2016, RHP, Pembroke Pines, FL) worked steadily at 90-91 mph for most of his outing. He showed good command of his 75 mph curveball, as well as a 78 mph changeup. He struck out four and faced the minimum in two innings

Cole Ragans (2016, LHP, Tallahassee, FL) came out of the gate pumping 88-90 mph fastballs from a difficult high three-quarter arm slot, hiding the ball well. 73 mph curveball with late, sharp 11-5 shape. Ragans struck out one and faced the minimum. 

Gregory Veliz (2016, RHP/SS, Key West, FL) reached 93-95 mph with his fastball. He also showed off a hard 76 mph downer curveball and a changeup 85-88. He tossed two innings and struck out four. 

Isaac Olson (2016, RHP, Glendale, MO) worked at 80-82 mph with his fastball and flashed solid 12-6 curveball. He worked two scoreless innings.

Carlos A. Cortes (2016, 2B/OF, Oviedo, FL) provided the defensive highlight of the night, making a diving catch on a sinking line drive to center field.

Kevin Gowdy (2016, RHP, Santa Barbara, CA) lived at 85-88 mph with his fastball, also showing off a feel for a changeup and curveball. He consistently located his fastball down in the zone. Over two innings, he did not allow a run.

Mark Potter (2016, RHP, Melbourne, FL) topped out at 87 mph with his fastball and struck out two batters over two innings of work.

Ian McEachern (2016, RHP, Washington, D.C.) worked at 83-85 mph with his fastball, flashing a 76 mph slider as well. He tossed two innings and struck out three.

Drew Parrish (2016, LHP, Rockledge, FL) lived at 82-85 mph with his fastball, flashing a 77 mph changeup and a 71 mph curveball. He tossed two solid innings of work.

Deshawn Lookout (2016, SS, Oklahoma City, OK) picked up a solid single up the middle in the latter part of the game.

Noah Murdock (2016, RHP, Colonial Heights, VA) has a lanky, projectable frame that immediately stood when he stepped on the mound. He touched 89 mph with his fastball, working consistently at 83-87 mph. He worked two innings and struck out four batters.

Clayton Kwiatkowski (2016, LHP, St. Petersburg, FL) topped at 87 mph with his fastball and struck out one batter in his one inning of work.

Thomas Dillard (2016, C, Cordova, TN) followed his colossal batting practice performance with an immediate impact in game action. He rocketed a double into the left field corner in his first at bat.

Evan Odum (2016, RHP, Lumberton, SC) showed off a fast, loose arm, topping out at 90 mph. He also flashed a sharp 76 mph curveball with late action. He struck out three batters in two innings of work.

Justin Sorokowski (2016, 3B, Mechanicsville, VA) roped an 89 mph fastball to center field for a hard single, showing excellent bat speed on a pitch inside.

Bobby Nicholson (2016, RHP, Charlottesville, VA) came out of the gate firing, throwing his first pitch at 90 mph. He worked mostly at 87-88 mph with late sinking action, continuing to touch 90 throughout his outing. He tossed two innings and faced the minimum. He also flashed a hard 81 mph slider.

Ryland Cox (2016, RHP, Taylor, TX) lived at 85-87 in a short outing before lightning cut his outing short, flashing a sharp breaking ball as well. He also threw a 72 mph changeup in his one inning.

Tyler Keysor (2016, RHP, Winter Garden, FL) worked at 87-90 in an abbreviated lightning shortened outing. He pitched one inning then finished up in the bullpen, where he showed a 78 mph slider and 74 mph changeup.

Chase Solesky (2016, RHP, Fort Pierce, FL) tossed three frames of solid work, topping out at 83 mph with his fastball.

Mason Studstill (2016, RHP, Titusville, FL) threw a heavy 87-88 mph fastball, reaching as high as 89 in the early part of his outing, dropping slightly to the mid 80s by the end of his outing. He tossed two innings, striking out two batters along the way.

Dylan Carlson (2016, 1B, Elk Grove, CA) stroked a hard line drive single to center field in his first at-bat, showing a compact quick stroke.

Herbert Iser (2016, C, Miami, FL) continued his impressive work with the bat, smashing a long double to straightaway center field, once again showing off his strength.

Andres P. Sosa (2016, 2B, San Antonio, TX) continued his excellent hitting, lining a rocket single through the middle in his first at-bat.

Mike Pascoe (2016, RHP, Poughkeepsie, NY) lived at 84-86 mph with his fastball, touching 87 mph with good late life. He tossed three innings and struck out two.

Brandon Fraley (2016, RHP, Middletown, DE) worked steadily at 84-86 mph and reached as high as 88 in his three frames. He struck out four batters in his first inning, and ended up with six strikeouts in his three innings.

Andrew Belcik (2016, 3B, Oldsmar, FL) smoked a hard double right down the left field line, staying inside a difficult pitch to hit. Belcik also took the mound and worked at 87-89 and touched 90 mph with the fastball. He also flashed a good changeup with late diving action. 

Conner Capel (2016, OF/LHP, Katy, TX) touched 89 right off the bat and immediately got everyone's attention behind home plate. He lived mostly at 87-88 and flashed a sharp slider and changeup.

Blake Charlton (2016, OF/RHP, O'Fallon, MO) showed off an impressive arm, working at 82-85 mph with his fastball, reaching up to 86 mph. He mixed a 71 mph curveball and picked up two strikeouts in two innings of work

Spencer Van Scoyoc (2016, LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) also made some of the event's loudest contact, smoking a booming double to right field. He also started the game on the mound, working two innings of striking out two and working at 82-85 mph with his fastball.

James Williams (2016, C/RHP, Kennesaw, GA) tossed two innings, striking out one batter. He worked at 82-86 mph with his fastball and flashed a solid changeup and a good slider.

Johnathan Jahn (2016, LHP, Martinez, GA) reached 86 mph with his fastball, pitching two perfect innings with three strikeouts. He also showed a changeup with good feel.

Joey Polak (2016, 3B, Quincy, IL) continued his strong event on Tuesday, launching a hard double off the left field fence in his first plate appearance.

Cory Campbell (2016, OF, Cumming, GA) slashed a hard opposite field single to left field, showing a solid approach on a pitch out away from him. He also topped at 83 mph in his one inning on the mound.

Jay Shadday (2016, LHP, Rome, GA) tossed two effective innings, striking out three. He pitched at 83-85, touching 86 with good command. He also showed feel for a sharp slider.

Mason McWhorter (2016, OF, Cumming, GA) drove one of the day's hardest shots, lining a shot to the opposite field off the wall off an 85 mph fastball. He also touched 82 mph on the mound

Austin Wilhite (2016, SS/RHP, Buford, GA) showed off a superb three pitch mix, striking out the side in his one inning of work. He worked at 86-88 mph and showed an impressive changeup.

Nick Wilhite (2016, OF/LHP, Buford, GA) showed good depth on his curveball and touched 86 mph with his fastball. He tossed one scoreless inning with one strikeout.

Matt Mervis (2016, 3B/RHP, Kennesaw, GA) touched 86 mph with a tight 76 mph slider in his one scoreless, hitless inning of work.

Edward "EP" Reese (2016, OF, Lexington, NC) contributed a hard hit double down the line, continuing to show good things at the plate.

Easton McGee (2016, RHP, Hopkinsville, KY) worked at 84-88 mph from a three quarter arm slot, showing off good life through the zone. He showed off a late diving changeup 75 mph with good command. He tossed three innings, allowing just one hit and striking out two.

Jonathan Heasley (2016, RHP, Dallas, TX) touched 90 mph with his fastball, working consistently at 86-89 mph with his fastball. Heasley worked two innings and struck out four.

Ross Korosec (2016, RHP, Winter Springs, FL) showed off a live fastball, touching 87 mph and missing bats up in the zone. He also flashed a late breaking 11-5 curveball for strikes and a quality changeup. He tossed to scoreless innings with two strikeouts.

Dakota Donovan (2016, RHP, Washington, UT) threw a heavy 87-89 mph fastball, proving to be an effective groundball pitcher. He worked three innings, allowing two hits and striking out five.

Ryan Mejia (2016, OF Tampa, FL) smoked a hard hit double into the right center gap, continuing his impressive hitting in day one.

Will Proctor (2016, SS, Manhattan Beach, CA) followed a solid batting practice round with a ringing line drive single to the opposite field in game action. 

Zachary Watson (2016, SS/RHP, Ruston, LA) showed a very live fastball, working at 88-89 mph with late tailing action in his one inning of work. 

Bernard Gilot (2016, 3B, Apopka, FL) had one of the day's biggest swings, driving a ball off to the base of the left center field.

Connor Manous (2016, RHP, Munster, IN) worked two innings of one hit baseball and struck out two. He worked at 84-88 mph with his fastball, flashing a sharp 74 mph curveball.

James Proctor (2016, RHP, Creve Coeur, MO) topped at 84 mph with his fastball, flashing a sharp, late diving changeup and a solid curveball. He tossed three innings and struck out four batters.

Patrick Martin (2016, RHP, Kennesaw, GA) worked at 82-85 mph and flashed a 78 mph changeup and a 69 mph curveball. He worked two innings and struck out one batter. 

Kevin Roliard (2016, RHP, Spring, TX) topped at 91 mph, working mostly at 88-89 mph early in the outing. He showed confidence in his changeup and command of his fastball. He tossed two innings and did not allow a hit, while striking out two.

Zachary Hess (2016, RHP, Forest, VA) worked from a three-quarter arm slot, creating good deception and touching 88 mph with his fastball, working consistently at in the 84-86 mph range. He worked two innings, allowed three hits and struck out three.

Austin Wilhite (2016, SS, Buford, GA) picked up a sharply hit single up the middle, doing a good job of staying inside the pitch in the process.

Nick Wihlite (2016, OF, Buford, GA) also picked up a hit, rocketing a double to the opposite field that came off his bat at 92 mph. 

Mitchell Hagan (2016, 1B, Omaha, NE) picked up two hits on Monday evening, including a solid line drive pulled to right field.

Cash Case (2017, SS, Mount Dora, FL) smoked a hard line drive into the right center field gap for a long single.

Aaron Schunk (2016, SS/RHP, Decatur, GA) flashed a sharp 78 mph curveball with late 11-5 bite and touched 87 mph in his one scoreless inning of work.

Zachary Strickland (2016, RHP, Waycross, GA) worked at 82-86 mph, working from high over the top arm slot. He tossed three innings and struck out three batters along the way.

Anthony Holubecki (2016, RHP, Elburn, IL) came out throwing bullets after the rain cleared, touching 92 mph and working consistently at 88-91 mph, showing good life through the zone. He tossed three innings of scoreless, and hitless baseball and struck out seven.

Thomas Spinelli (2016, LHP, Ocala, FL) showed swing and miss stuff, working at 85-88 mph with his fastball, spinning a tight 78-79 mph slider, and flashing a 77 mph changeup. He worked two innings, did not allow a hit and struck out three.

Garrett Stallings (2016, RHP, Cheseapeake, VA) worked around the strike zone consistently, sitting at 84-87 and topping at 88 mph. He also mixed a 77 mph curveball that he located well. He tossed three innings of scoreless, hitless baseball and struck out five.

Dalton Griffin (2016, OF, Guyton, GA) provided a defensive highlight, throwing a bullet to home plate from left field to gun down a potential run. He took the mound late in the game and topped out at 84 mph with his fastball.

Batting Practice Highlights - Day 1

6/9/2014

Gold

Brandon Fraley (2016, RHP/OF, Middletown, DE) - Taking a very consistent round, Fraley showed an easy line drive stroke and good life off his bat. He stays short to the ball and should continue to develop power wise.

Christian Leonard (2016, C, Lafayette, LA) - Leonard flashes above average bat speed and an aggressive, attack the ball type approach. He produced consistent, hard line drives to right center field.

Nicholas Quintana (2016, SS, Las Vegas, NV) - Showing off one of the loudest bats you'll hear in the 2016 class, Quintana took a calm, measured round and generates rockets to all parts of the park. His carry to the middle of the field really stands out. 

Ryan Mejia (2016, OF, Tampa, FL) - Flashing good power, Mejia has above average bat speed and flashed good power potential in his round on Monday. The ball jumps off his barrel.

Herbert Iser (2016, C, Miami, FL) - Iser arguably took the best round of the day, making a big right field at JetBlue Park look small. He launched a ball well over the right center field fence, showing good natural lift and a calm, quiet approach.

Zach Zientarski (2016, 1B, Jupiter, FL) - Flashing good raw power, Zientarski has a physical presence at the plate with present strength. He has a simple approach and used it to his advantage, generating consistent line drives.

Green

Aaron Schunk (2016, SS, Decatur, GA) - Showing off a loose, easy righty stroke, Schunk got extension and produced hard line drives in his BP round. He projects to continue adding power. 

Austin Wilhite (2016, Buford, GA) - A projectable right-handed hitter, Wilhite looks to be a hitter with will develop power with maturity. But, right now he is a line drive machine, showing good balance and barrel accuracy.

Daniel Bakst (2016, SS, New York, NY) - Bakst has an aggressive, attack the ball type of approach and it was paying off in his round, as he produced hard line drives to his pull side. He's another highly projectable hitter.

Chris Bashlor (2016, 1B, Richmond Hill, GA) - Bashlor shows off good lift, using a very simple, repeatable approach to drive the ball hard to the gap. He projects to be a power bat at the next level.

Navy

Joey Polak (2016, 3B, Quincy, IL) - Working for a strong, wide base, Polak knows how to lift the ball with authority. There is some jump off his bat, and he barreled the ball consistently in his Monday round.

Blake Brady (2016, C, Greenville, SC) - Brady has an uppercut swing path but consistently produced hard pull side line drives on Monday. He has a sound approach and sticks to it.

Orange

Will Proctor (2016, SS, Manhattan Beach, CA) - Working from a tall setup, Proctor shows good present strength and hand speed. He hit the ball hard to his pull side and projects for more power down the road.

Mason Studstill (2016, RHP/3B, Titusville, FL) - Studstill shows good present strength and it translates into driving the baseball. He launched a long home run over the Green Monster and showed consistent carry to left field.

Zachary Watson (2016, SS, Ruston, LA) - Watson stays short to the ball and produces consistent, hard line drives. He has quick hands and simple, repeatable swing mechanics. 

Ezekiel Bear (2016, 3B, Cypress, TX) - Working from a spread, open stance, Bear shows good life off his bat, as well as power potential. His hands work well, and he a loose, easy swing path.

Dalton Griffin (2016, OF, Guyton, GA) - Griffin has a solid build and good present power. He flashes above average bat speed, and produces hard line drives to left field.

Jacob Parrott (2016, OF, Lucas, TX) - Parrott has a level, short swing path and consistent swing mechanics. He also showed good present power, hitting a home run in his round.
Green vs. Gold

6/9/2014

Bo Weiss (2016, RHP, Castle Rock, CO) worked consistently at 84-89 mph with his fastball, showing a significant uptick in velocity, and struck out four batters over his three innings of work. He also flashed a good changeup.

Adam Laskey (2016, LHP, Barrington, NJ) sat steadily at 82-84, loose projectable, showing a quality feel for his secondary pitches as well. He tossed two innings, surrendering three hits, and picking uo two strikeouts.

Connor Darling (2016, RHP, Suwanee, GA) had a solid showing, working consistently at 87-88 mph, flashing a 78 mph slider and an 82 mph changeup. He tossed two innings of one hit baseball, picking up three strikeouts along the way.

Isaak Gutierrez (2016, RHP, Norwalk, CA) worked at 82-85 mph with his fastball, spinning a solid curveball at 71 mph. His fastball showed good fastball life. He tossed three innings of scoreless baseball, striking out three along the way.

Rian Haire (2016, LHP, Hudson, NC) lived at 86-88 mph with his fastball, touching as high as 89 mph with late fastball life. He also flashed a slider at 79 mph with good location. He struck out four batters in two innings of work.

Nicholas Quintana (2016, SS, Las Vegas, NV) had the big swing of the day, launching a line drive off the Green Monster in left field. He did that following a highly impressive BP round.

Andres P. Sosa (2016, INF, San Antonio, TX) stroked a hard hit double down the third base line in his first at-bat, showing good quickness on the inner half. He added a hard hit single in his last at-bat.
