Michael Musselwhite is a 2016 SS/UT with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Lumberton, NC who attends Lumberton HS. Young slender frame with room to fill out. Starts with a wide base at the plate, high hand set up, lower half works, good balance, good swing, aggressive approach at the plate, doesn't get cheated. Is short to the ball, shows bat speed, gets good extension, lets the ball travel, has a line drive swing plane. Has arm strength across the infield, good base to start, quick feet, soft hands, quick transfer, good lateral agility and quickness, slick smooth actions at short stop. Is an intriguing prospect to follow and is a good overall student.
