5-Green vs. 7-Columbia Blue Game Highlights

8/2/2026

Brooks Aduddell (2030 2B, San Antonio, TX) got the start for the green squad, and provided an impressive look out on the hill. The fastball worked around the mid-upper 70s with some life to it, and works athletically down the mound in the delivery. The breaking ball worked in the 65-66 range with two-plane break to it.

Blaine Peery (2030 C, Montgomery, TX) had an impressive showing on the mound, working in the 76-78 range with the fastball and good life at the top of the zone. Peery has an athletic delivery down the mound, and the curveball has true 11-5 action with spin around 2300.

Ryan Rodriguez (2030 3B, Carrollton, TX) had a nice swing here in the top of the fourth, lining it through the middle of the field for a base hit and an RBI. The swing works well through the middle with quick hands from the left side.

Jesse Vasquez (2031 RHP, Snyder, TX) had a nice swing late in this one, shooting one down the line in left field for a loud knock. Vasquez has a big frame with solid bat speed and plenty of impact to the barrel.

Jacob Gifford (2030 C, Hewitt, TX) made a nice play on a backhand, showing off the agility when working laterally. The glove works well with soft hands, and the arm has good carry across the infield.

Royxet Mestre (2030 3B, Houston, TX) had a nice showing on the mound in relief, working in the high 70s and low 80s consistently with good life to the fastball. Mestre has a controlled delivery down the slope into a strong front side, and commands the fastball well. The breaking ball works right around 67 with a bit of horizontal action.

Eduardo Gonzalez Toledo (2030 3B, Mabelvale, AR) had an impressive swing early in the game, hammering one deep to right for a triple. The swing works with plenty of strength oppo, and some feel for the barrel to the outside pitch.

5-Green vs. 6-Navy Game Highlights

Brooks Aduddell (2030 2B, San Antonio, TX) had a nice swing in the second inning, sending one into the left center gap on a line. Aduddell has a feel for the barrel when working to the pull side, and was able to find some grass for this one.

Alcala also worked in a breaking ball in the 67-70 range with some depth. Alcala has also shown well in the field and at the plate throughout the weekend.

Pearson Bryan (2030 2B, Tomball, TX) had a nice swing in the second inning, lining one to right field for a base hit. Bryan has solid hands that work inside the baseball, and he was able to get the barrel to this one.

7- Col. Blue vs 5-Green

Eduardo Gonzalez Toledo (2030 3B, Mabelvale, AR) had no issues here, staying through the outside fastball and driving a triple to the right-center field wall. Has been on the barrel all day, driving it all over the yard, and has been one of the toughest outs here.

Zachary Martinez (2030 3B, San Antonio, TX) yanked a ball into the right-center field gap for a stand-up double. Has a smooth right-handed stroke, using his hands well and staying gap to gap.

Jesse Vasquez (2031 RHP, Snyder, TX) is continuing to show off the bat-to-ball with another single to the big part of the field. Really been an issue for pitchers today, putting together good at-bats.
