Austin Smith (2028 RHP, Burlington, KY) started his game with an opposite field knock to RF in the top of the 3rd, showcasing solid coverage of the zone with the ability to work all parts of the field for impact.
Peter Kooiker (2026 RHP, Jenison, MI) was effective on the mound in a 3 inning start, running his FB up to 82 mph with the ability to locate to all quadrants of the zone. The physical 6-foot-3, 225 pound righty pitched to contact effectively with developing spin profile in the arsenal.
Connor York (2028 MIF, Knoxville, TN) jumped on a first pitch FB and smoked an RBI single back up the middle in the top of the 3rd, showcasing present barrel control with good timing overall to the stroke. The athletic 6-foot, 175 pound prospect also caused problems on the bases and provided value in multiple ways for his squad.
Logan Haboush (2027 RHP, Lizton, IN) was sharp on the mound through his three no-hit innings of work, striking out four with the FB topping out at 78 mph. The strength in the 6-foot-1, 215 pound frame reveals itself on both sides of the field, where the ’27 prospect also roped a single into the LCF gap in the top of the 4th inning.
Ben Leisring (2027 SS, Cincinnati, OH) put together a quality AB in the top of the 5th, ultimately ending in an RBI double to the LCF gap. The 5-foot-10, 160 pound prospect was able to successfully spoil multiple pitches and execute with two strikes, limiting swing/miss in the approach while controlling the barrel more than effectively.
Alex Whitaker (2028 3B, Lexington, KY) sent a rocket to the LF wall in the top of the 6th, showcasing natural lift in the path with present leverage created. The 6-foot, 190 prospect has evident strength proportioned throughout the frame with good incorporation of the lower half in the stroke.
