Miliner had one of the louder rounds of BP and showcased the pure strength in the 6-foot-3, 220 pound frame in all aspects of his game. The switch hitting prospect impacted the baseball with authority from both boxes with clear power production from both sides, posting an exit velo of 89 mph. He was fluid and athletic from the OF, taking direct routes to the baseball with top end arm strength, touching 96 mph.
Herring was an intriguing two-way prospect over the course of the event, starting as a primary IF showcasing good range with soft reliable hands and sound glove work, ultimately topping out at 83 mph across the diamond. He touched 82 mph on the mound with feel for spin in the arsenal, seeing the SL register at 2343 rpm. Offensively, the left handed hitter displayed good barrel extension with a repeatable path, producing consistent contact to the pull side of the field.
Concepcion did a nice job of making plays on the left side of the IF both during workouts and in-game, topping out at 84 mph across the diamond. He displayed evident bat speed on the offensive end with good feel for the barrel, posting an exit velo of 84 mph as well.
York was another multi-tooled prospect on display, topping out at 89 mph from the OF and 86 mph across the diamond with natural athletic actions at both spots. He struckout the side during his one inning on the mound, touching 83 mph. Offensively, York displays loose hands and plenty of quickness through the zone with projectable pop to the middle of the field, posting an exit velo of 89 mph.
Whitaker provided value from a range of defensive positions during the weekend, starting as a primary IF showcasing controlled movements with the ability to make plays on the run. He topped out at 82 mph across the diamond and 85 mph from the OF while also recording outs efficiently on the mound up to 80 mph. He consistently produced loud line drive impact to the middle of the field on the offensive end, posting an exit velo of 89 mph.
Smith showcased young tools to get excited about on the mound, touching 83 mph from a 3/4 release. The 6-foot-5, 224 pound prospect flashed developing spin profile in the arsenal and pitched to contact effectively with command to all quadrants. He was also valuable offensively, flashing clear strength in the hands with growing power potential, posting an exit velo of 86 mph.
