8/3/2025

4-Orange

Ezra Gonzalez (2028 OF, Roma, TX) worked up to 82 from the lefty slot and struck out 4 batters throughout the course of 2 innings. Also mixed in a good looking breaking ball in the low-70s and kept hitters off balance.

Clyde Votaw (2027 RHP, Texas City, TX) found some barrels throughout the game with ability to really impact it. Showed good rhythm in the swing and controls the barrel well.

5-Royal

Michael Kayne (2027 SS, Conroe, TX) ripped a double to right down the line in game action. Has shown a solid approach with bat to ball and good impact off the barrel. Laid down a beautiful bunt in his next at bat and beat it out for a single.

Parker Legh-Page (2028 3B, Cypress, TX) was on the barrel often in game action collecting 2 hits when it was all said and done.

Tyler Robinson (2026 OF, Alexandria, LA) rolled through 2 shutout frames while striking out all 6 batters. Fastball worked up to 81 from the lefty slot and was located well with the velo playing up a good bit. Mixed in a curve as well and kept hitters off balance. Good outing.

6-White vs. 3-Green Game Highlights

8/3/2025

6-White

Joseph Young (2027 C, College Station, TX) turned on a ball for a smoked double to deep left in game action. Can really impact the baseball. Came up later and sent a triple to the left-center track. Innate feel for the barrel was on full display and can clearly impact it.

Martin Pena (2028 3B, Houston, TX) absolutely turned on a ball to deep left for a double in game action. Ball came off sizzling hot with big time strength at impact.

3-Green

Christian Ferrier (2027 OF, Cuero, TX) sent a ball to deep right for a triple in game action. Has a smooth lefty swing with plenty of feel for the barrel. Has shown some serious power and projects well. Came up later on and banged another triple off the wall in right.

Colton Walker (2027 OF, Friendswood, TX) was all over the barrel in game action using the middle of the field well with impact. Has shown real hitter traits throughout the weekend. Had multiple hits when it was all said and done.

Tyler Witt (2027 SS, New Ulm, TX) rolled through 2 shutout frames with 3 strikeouts and showed plenty to like. Fastball worked up to 83 with life through the zone and located. Showed excellent feel to spin it with a curve and slider. Could manipulate both shapes. Lots of projection remaining with more velo in the tank.

Jacob Sheinbein (2027 C, Houston, TX) had a nice multi-hit game with a pair of base-hits. Showed a solid approach with good bat to ball ability all around.

White V. Royal Highlights

8/2/2025

Matthew Reyna (2026 RHP, Von Ormy, TX) tagged a hanging changeup for a booming double to the opposite field. The two-way ability and strength has shown out this summer, he has easy juice and it's loud at impact. Very solid piece of hitting.

Alejandro Padilla (2026 C, Cypress, TX) sent one deep to right-center for a booming triple. Plenty of hand strength, gets on plane and has backspin and carry to deep parts of the yard. Physical backstop, imposing look in the box.

Peyton Resnick (2026 1B, Friendswood, TX) delivered a booming home run that was gone in an instant. It opened eyes to say the least. Easy lefty strength produced out front and has impact to pull. Can get on the bump and work into the low-80s with three-pitch mix too. Showed well both sides.

Peyton Trummell (2026 OF, Montgomery, TX) big tools and strength all over the barrel. Has power upside and really gets into high gear on the basepaths and covers ground in the outfield. Has pop and bat speed.

Parker Legh-Page (2028 3B, Cypress, TX) solid two-way with arm strength and opened eyes on the bump for grade. Low-80s and battled guys in zone and showed some solid feel to spin with a high-60s breaker. Good defender too.

Zane Underwood (2027 RHP, New Waverly, TX) mid-80s arm with feel for a three pitch mix and battled in his start. Turns over a harder changeup in the high-70s and flashed some good feel to spin. Works all quadrants of the zone.

Tyler Robinson (2026 OF, Alexandria, LA) roped one the other way for a double. Long levers and a ton to project on physically, has some feel in the box with a smooth inside-out swing.

8/1/2025

Tyler Witt (2027 SS, New Ulm, TX) has good length to swing and uses it to all fields. Solid all-fields contact and works short to long. More pop in store and the body really projects, wiry strength.

Maximo Gutierrez (2028 C, San Antonio, TX) has loose tension and strength to the wrists with good power potential. Has some solid impact to the deep part of the middle of the field.

Christian Ferrier (2027 OF, Cuero, TX) quick hands packed in a short lefty swing with good bat-to-ball skill. Has the ability to get the head out and show promising impact to the pull side.

Colton Walker (2027 OF, Friendswood, TX) fast bat with some strength to the wrists. Has intent packed in the swing and lifts it deep to all parts of the field. Athletic look in the box.

Austin Reyna (2027 SS, Santa Fe, TX) solid quick hands all fields contact and works short to long. Simple, repeatable path and gets the head out to all fields. Gets extended well.

Colton Wright (2027 LHP, Dickinson, TX) stays inside the baseball well, keeping a real closed front side and opening up on time. When out front there is some quickness and line drive contact to the pull-side gap.

Mason Desai (2027 OF, Fulshear, TX) slight wrapped two-part swing with real impact. Has big strength out front and lofted fly ball contact to the pull side. Has some bat speed and the strength shows.

Gunner Carpenter (2028 OF, Boerne, TX) real good strength for age as the hands are packed with intent. Uphill swing and fires the hands through the zone real well, all fields type contact.

Jonell Rodriguez (2027 2B, Spring, TX) real quick hands, gets extended and flies through the zone a bit. Puts on the brakes well and the hand speed is short, direct and through it from a flat path.

Peyton Trummell (2026 OF, Montgomery, TX) just big time strength, sprayed it hard to the pull side with immense backspin and carry. Has bat speed, strength and a ton to work with here in the bat.

Alejandro Padilla (2026 C, Cypress, TX) whips the barrel around and has a steep swing with impact. Physical kid in the box, uses the levers well and the strength can really play.

Joseph Young (2027 C, College Station, TX) major strength and left the yard really turns the barrel over and has juice to the pull side. Fast bat with big pull fly impact, showed out.

Zachary Sanchez (2026 SS, Magnolia, TX) was all over the barrel and sprayed it to all fields. Some quick hands that shoot through the zone and really puts on the brakes out front.

Walker Roach (2028 C, Robstown, TX) drove it hard to all fields and went gap-to-gap with his approach. There is some real strength here for age and does a good job getting extended.

Andrew Daigle (2026 3B, Cypress, TX) huge strength out front and banged a few off the wall. Stays behind it and through, big power projection here and delivers a heavy barrel.

Brian Grant Jr. (2026 1B, Katy, TX) showed juice to all fields in his round with backspin and carry to the deeper parts of the yard. Short to contact and thunderous hands that get extended.
