As part of our in-depth postseason coverage, Perfect Game will keep you up-to-date with the latest news and scores from each of the NCAA Regional sites throughout the weekend.

Rosenblatt may be no more, but The Road to Omaha remains the same with 64 teams vying for eight lucrative spots in the College World Series.

Virginia enters the NCAA tournament as the top overall national seed, while Florida, Vanderbilt and South Carolina are other teams considered to be the primary national title contenders.

First things first, though, and that's the NCAA Regional round.

We take an incredibly in-depth look at everything you'd ever want to know about the NCAA Field of 64, focusing on the best and worst of the NCAA Regionals.

TOUGHEST REGIONALS

1. Los Angeles: We like what the committee did with UCLA. They gave them a No. 1 seed with only 33 wins, but also gave them a tough NCAA Regional. The Bruins must play a San Francisco team that is familiar with them in Game 1 before possibly facing a pair of very solid teams in Fresno State and UC Irvine. This field is anything but a cakewalk for John Savage's club.

2. Clemson: The Tigers finished the season on a high note and earned an NCAA Regional host. However, they don't have an incredibly easy field outside of No. 4 seed Sacred Heart. Connecticut is one of the nation's most talented teams and has a chance to do something special this season, while Coastal Carolina is filled with experience and knows what it takes to advance to the next round.

3. Columbia: Considering South Carolina earned a national seed, we're trying to figure out why it's on this list. South Carolina has the tough chore of facing No. 4 Georgia Southern to begin the weekend, while Stetson and N.C. State are talented clubs with much potential. Someone on the committee apparently didn't hold South Carolina in good graces.

4. Fullerton: Cal State Fullerton is very much used to playing tough NCAA Regionals each season. This year is no exception. The Titans will have to get past the Big Ten tournament champion in Illinois before also facing either an ultra talented Stanford club or hard-nosed Kansas State. It's not far-fetched to think the Titans won't advance to an NCAA Super Regional.
