2022 Jupiter Guide

JUPITER, Fla. -- The Grand Daddy Of 'Em All, the WWBA World Championship but more affectionately referred to simply as "Jupiter," kicks off on Oct. 6 and runs through Oct. 10, with the best travel ball organizations stacked full of the best amateur prospects from across the world vying for a title.

Below is your guide to all things Jupiter leading up to the event.



Scout Notes

Perfect Game scouts are everywhere at Jupiter, taking notes on standout performances and pulling video from games played at the Roger Dean Complex.

Game Schedule

Exhibition contests kick off on Wednesday and run through the 10:00 am slot on Thursday. Pool play starts with the 10:20 am slot on Thursday and run through the end of the day on Saturday. Playoffs start first thing Sunday morning and conclude Monday afternoon.

Ranked Prospects

The WWBA World Championship is the top scouting attraction in all of amateur baseball each year, with almost every top prospect in the country attending. More than 700 MLB scouts and college coaches will also be in Jupiter to take note of all the talent.

Pool Previews

The WWBA World Championship will have 25 different pools. Perfect Game scouts have picked their favorites to make it out of each pool, a dark horse to look out for in each one, as well as other storylines to keep an eye on.

Championship Picks

Similar to how PG scouts previewed each pool, they also took turns picking who they thought would be the last team standing when the dust settles on Oct. 10. There were 14 different teams who received a vote.

Uncommitted Prospects

The WWBA World Championship gives uncommitted prospects their biggest opportunity of the year to impress college coaches and find their next baseball home. Jupiter will feature an incredibly talented group of uncommitted prospects, and PG scouts have highlighted a large number of them in a three-part series. Part 1 and Part 2 have been posted, with Part 3 posting Thursday morning.

Streaming Schedule

MLB Players in Jupiter

Several former MLB players will be in Jupiter serving as ambassadors for Perfect Game, helping to grow the game of baseball.

Luis Alicia, Kyle Farnsworth, Tom "Flash" Gordon, Ryan Klesko, Charles Johnson, Tim Redding, and Preston Wilson will all be in attendance.
