Hiro Wyatt, RHP, Westport, Conn.

Wyatt is a low slot, low release, high spin rate unicorn that has been up to 94 mph in previous looks with heavy sinking life to the fastball. He flashes a frisbee slider at times and has the ability to kill spin on the changeup. He provides an interesting look with high-octane stuff to go, can hold his velocity for multiple innings and can stymie both right-handed and left-handed hitters. He can be deployed in various roles and his three-pitch mix allows for him to navigate a lineup multiple times through.



Johan Franco, RHP/3B, Saint Albans, N.Y.

Team Elite/Atlanta Braves Scout Team

Franco is a talented two-way product from the Northeast that has continued to steadily improve on the mound each time out. He has been into the low-90s with his fastball as of late and couples it with a pair of promising off-speed offerings. The durable-framed right-hander possesses an extremely quick shoulder and should continue to add a few more ticks of velocity. At the plate, he does not get cheated and looks to do damage with every swing of the bat. Franco is an able defender at the hot corner with some agility and range, while showing off the aforementioned arm strength.

East Coast Lumberjacks/Northeast Pride

Galli is an extremely athletic right-hander that has been into the low-90s in previous looks and possesses a true swing-and-miss breaking ball. It’s a really quick arm with the potential for more velocity as he continues to add strength. The sharp, late biting breaker is a real weapon that he can land for strikes and manipulate for plenty of swings-and-misses.


Jonny Lintell, RHP, Weston, Conn.

Team Elite Prime

Lintell is a hulking 6-foot-5, 215-pound right-hander that has been into the upper-80s in previous looks. He creates easy arm-side life from a tough three-quarters slot and shows feel for his slurve shaped breaking ball. He completes his arsenal with a faded changeup and has more velocity in the tank.
 
Jack Bussard, LHP, Reistertown, Md.

USA Prime National

There are plenty of things to dream on with Bussard, as the massive 6-foot-5, 220-pound left-hander projects to continue adding velocity and already possesses an intriguing three-pitch mix. It’s a fairly repeatable delivery with a short, compact arm stroke and plenty of present arm speed. He has been into the upper-80s at times with the fastball and flashes some power to his more vertical breaking ball. He completes his three-pitch mix with a well-replicated changeup and has the ability to deploy all three offerings in any count.


Sachem Ramos, RHP, Manchester By The Sea, Mass.

Brewers Langley Blaze

Ramos is a dynamic mover with lightning quick arm speed and has been outstanding in 2022. The athletic right-hander has been up to 91 mph in recent looks, repeats well and pounds the strike zone effortlessly. He has the ability to manipulate both speed and shape to his breaking ball, while mimicking his arm speed and release on his changeup. It is an intriguing uncommitted arm from the Northeast with tons of projection still remaining.
 
Ryan Bouma, CIF/OF, Brookeville, Md.

Richmond Braves 18U Platinum

Bouma is a potential impact right-handed bat with some positional versatility and high baseball IQ. He has a solid overall hit tool with feel for the barrel and sneaky gap-to-gap juice. In the field, he has the ability to play both corners in the dirt seamlessly and has the athleticism and agility to man either of the corner outfield positions adequately. The bat is the carrying tool and should be able to provide length and the aforementioned sneaky power to a recruiting class looking to add bats.

Leo Doyle, OF/RHP, Staten Island, N.Y.

Team Northeast

Doyle is a twitchy primary outfielder with athletic actions in the grass, enough arm strength to thwart extra bases and has shown the ability to man all three spots fairly easy. At the plate, it is a simple operation with good feel for the barrel and some gap-to-gap power potential. There is some two-way value with the uncommitted 2023 grad, as he has been in the low-80s in previous looks and throws a ton of strikes.

Christian De La Cruz, RHP, Nyack, N.Y.

Real Ballers 2023 National Team

De La Cruz is another athletic mover with electric arm speed that hails from the Northeast. The uncommitted right-hander has seen steady climbs velocity wise and has been into the low-90s of late. He powers down well, generates good extension out-front and the fastball has tons of carry through the strike zone. He pairs it with a well-tunneled curveball with hammer traits to it and deep vertical depth. The operation itself is efficient and he repeats well, while the frame allows for added strength. Look for De La Cruz to continue adding velocity over the winter and should be an interesting name to follow moving forward.

Carson Cormier, RHP, Westford, Mass.

Knights Nation/Dodgers Scout Team

It'll be hard to miss Cormier whenever he takes the mound given his imposing 6-foot-5 frame and though he doesn't have the track record of others, 6 2/3 innings in 2022, he still impressed during the 17u WWBA. Cormier uses his length well to power the ball downhill, running his fastball up to 90 mph with angle and carry through the zone which he used to help punch out 10 in those near 7 innings this summer. The Massachusetts native also possesses a hard, downer curveball in the mid-70s which pairs well off of the heater, giving him a solid 1-2 combo which could make some noise in Jupiter.

Brewers Langley Blaze

The young shortstop out of Pennsylvania made the rounds throughout the summer, from the UBC to the 16u WWBA World Championship where he connected for a triple and home run, to the Underclass All-American Games in San Diego. Suiting up for the Brewers Langley Blaze club in Jupiter, the 6-foot-6 Andre Lopez could see time in either the dirt or the outfield in the tournament where his athleticism and overall feel will make an impact. Despite his length he stays relatively short through the zone with extension through the zone and projects well as he continues to fill out. 

Ian White Jr., RHP, Malvern, Pa.

US Elite 18u National

White Jr. is the lone underclassmen on the US Elite roster which speaks to his abilities on the mound. Listed at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, there's still plenty of projection moving forward though he already shows some quality stuff on the bump which led to an All-Tournament Team selection at the 16u WWBA after 6 innings of one-hit ball in which he struck out 8. We've seen the fastball up to 87 mph this summer during the Junior National Showcase where he also spun a quality slider with RPMs north of 2800, showing late biting life with tight spin, as well as a changeup with fading life and maintained arm speed.

Real Ballers 2023 National Team

Bowie is an uncommitted southpaw out of New Jersey who comes out attacking hitters with bat missing stuff as evidenced by his 23 strikeouts in just 11 1/3 innings of work at PG events. With an extended and angled release, Bowie makes for anything but a comfortable at-bats, especially when you factor in a heater that bumped upwards of 88 mph at the 16u WWBA World Championships where he was dominant in both of his outings. The velocity stands out for the 6-foot, 160-pounder, especially considering the jump he's made in a calendar year and there's plenty of reason to believe there's more to unlock more forward.

Kaiden Perez, LHP, Casselberry, Fla.

FTB Phillies Scout Team

Perez has a ton of feel for his three-pitch mix and pounds the bottom of the zone to both sides. He cannot throw anything straight, making things really tough to square up. He has been stellar in 2022, striking out more than a batter per inning and has not surrendered a walk. He runs the fastball into the mid-80s and there is a lot more coming.

Drew Reaves, SS, Pensacola, Fla.

Power Baseball 2023 Marucci

Reaves is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound shortstop that has a really heavy barrel and a path that is geared for line drives now but there is no reason to think the power won't come given the eye-hand coordination to go with the strength and athleticism. He can play the left side with balanced foot work and quick release. This should bring early versatility at a young age.



Ariel Antigua, SS, Lake Worth, Fla.

Top Tier 5 Star Roos Mafia

Antigua has always hit. He has a good blend of bat speed, rhythm and eye-hand coordination that has allowed him to produce in the middle of the order for years. The resume is 800+ at-bats and he has never shied away from playing in the top events against the best competition. He still produces. The glove, arm and instincts play up and he has dabbled in catching, which is extremely interesting.

Zaid Diaz, OF, Miramar, Fla.

Elite Squad

Diaz is a barrel-chested left-handed slugger that has big power coming from the strong 5-foot-10, 189-pound frame. The strong hands work through contact well and he posted a .988 OPS in nearly 100-at bats during 2022 so far. He fits in a corner outfield where his strong throwing arm plays well.

Landon O’Donnell, 3B, Bradenton, Fla.

FTB Resmondo

O’Donnell is a power arm/power bat prospect that could honestly go either way. He shows big pop from the right side of the plate when extended. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame looks the part and still has plenty of room to add strength. He also jumped on the mound in 2022 and sported low-90s arm strength with tons more coming.

Dylan Andino, SS, Orlando, Fla.

SWFL Baseball 2023 Nation

Andino is really tooled up. He runs in the 6.65 range, throws 97 mph from the infield, and has good bat speed and twitch to the frame. The swing has made improvements and the at-bats and production are on the rise. That type of upside could be used in many ways at the next level.

Jaden Huygens, OF, Orlando, Fla.

Canes Florida 18U National

Huygens is a really athletic outfielder that will see his best days coming. He is a very good multi-sport athlete that excels in all sports. He has a ton of projection remaining physically and the swing is loose with whip and should be geared to lots of future power. Given the athletic traits, he is easy to bet on.

Corey Battey, LHP, Clermont, Fla.

MLB Breakthrough Series 2023

Battey has a fastball that has touched 90 mph and spins a mid-70s curveball that shows depth at times. He also throws a solid changeup in the low-80s with some late horizontal movement. The quick-armed lefty is showing signs of being more around the zone and that has ticked up the swing-and-miss.

Tugg Hollandsworth, OF, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

East Coast Sox Scout

Hollandsworth has a solid 6-foot, 180-pound frame and a short and quick left-handed stroke. He is a good runner and that helps on both sides of the ball. He has a very high IQ and lots of grit to do all the little things that can help impact a win late in a game.

Chris Knier, RHP, Jensen Beach, Fla.

FTB Resmondo

Knier has been as consistent as anyone on the circuit the last few years. He recently competed at the PG FL Top Prospect Games and stood out in a big way with the heater flashing at 90 as he pounded the zone, getting a lot of empty swings. He is a very good athlete and it allows him to be on time at release with two solid breaking balls that both have good bite. There is some polish here to go along with competitive traits.



Anthony Schatz, LHP, Winter Haven, Fla.

Scorpions/Giants Scout Team

Schatz is sitting comfortably in the upper-80s as of late and there is late cut to the fastball that can give opposing hitters fits. He can manipulate his off-speed offerings well to play off his heater and get some bad swing-and-miss from hitters. This was shown in his most recent outing where he struck out 10 batters over his four-inning outing at the PG Florida Qualifier.

Kameron Mangum, RHP, Stonewall, La.

Easley Baseball Club

Kameron hails from Stonewall, La. and has a good projectable frame at 6-foot, 190 pounds and can still add some strength to it. His fastball works in the mid- to upper-80s and has topped out at 89 mph this summer. He shows a sharp-breaking curveball with some depth to the outer half. Everything from a free and easy delivery and three-quarter arm slot. Kameron has been named to two all-tournament teams and part of two WWBA (16U and 18U) champion teams in 2022.

Jaxson Burch, LHP, Central, La.

Burch is a southpaw and has a clean delivery that is easily repeatable. Jaxson was named to the 2022 Preseason All- American Team for the Southeast All-Region Second Team. Offering a three-pitch mix of fastball, slider and changeup, Burch attacks the zone and throws strikes. His fastball is sneaky as he hides the baseball well and works in the mid-80s with occasional flashes of 89 mph. The slider shows some depth and can get a sweeping action at times. Arm works from a three-quarter position, and he gets good extension through release.

Jake Middleton, LHP, Phenix City, Ala.

3n2 Sticks Baseball Brewster/ White Sox Scout Team

Middleton is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound lefty and uses a short, compact arm path with plenty of arm speed to attack hitters. The lower half looks to be engaged well throughout with a bit of drop-and-drive at times. Jake’s fastball works in the mid-80s with sinking action and has been up to 87 mph at times. He also features a full complement of off-speed pitches with a curveball, slider and changeup. Middleton has good feel for all his pitches and can work in and out of the zone effectively. Jake has continued to develop and show tremendous pitchability with occasional swing-and-miss stuff. Was named to five all-tournament teams in 2022.



Konnor Griffin, OF/3B/RHP, Florence, Miss.

Griffin has that frame that just makes you take notice, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 195 pounds. As the highest-ranked uncommitted player coming into Jupiter, Konnor re-classified from the ’25 class and has a laundry list of accolades and achievements to wow scouts and coaches with. A top two-way player in the country, he has shown a blazing fastball up to 93 mph while sporting a hefty .471 career batting average in PG events. Konnor displays consistent bat speed with the ability to drive balls to all fields and shows power to the pull side. On the mound, he has a simple delivery that allows him to leverage baseballs downhill toward the plate from the traditional slot of three-quarters. He also possesses a slider that gets good depth and has a sweeping action.



Stone McCaughey, RHP, Hernando, Miss.

Easley Baseball Club

Stone has plenty of room for added power and lower half strength in his 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame. Displaying a lively fastball that has regularly been recorded in the low-90s while topping 92 mph, McCaughey also thwarts hitters with sharp curveballs with a 12/6 shape and sliders with tilt. He can maintain good control of both breaking balls, which are in the upper-70s for velo. Stone has a bit of a longer arm action back behind, but he times everything up well with staying tall over the rubber while getting into his lower half to leverage the baseball with a lot of life through the zone. Big projectable arm here with feel for getting the job done when needed.



Eli Driskell, RHP, Mobile, Ala.

East Coast Sox Scout

Eli has a 6-foot-1, 200-pound build and works from the stretch with a full back turn delivery. He has a full arm swing and good arm speed with a fastball that works in the upper-80s consistently and tops out at 90 mph. Occasionally he gets some arm-side running life. Throws both a curveball and a slider; curveball is a big sweeper with an early break and some depth, slider has good depth and feel for being in and around the strike zone. Driskell has a good chance to keep improving as he develops and gets more consistent. Eli was named to the 2022 Underclass All-American Games, the Junior National Showcase and Preseason Underclass All-American Team Southeast Region while being awarded to the Top Prospect List for the 2022 Underclass All-American Games and 2022 WWBA Workout showcase.

Zach Porter, C, Chattanooga, Tenn.

Porter is a 2024 catcher with a 6-foot, 170-pound frame with a medium build and plenty of room to get stronger. Behind the plate Zach sets up low, with game actions in drills, has a polished lower half with footwork and actions, gains ground and makes accurate throws with good carry, and has strong overall fundamentals. As a right-handed hitter, he sets up in a narrow stance with a high hand position, a small simple trigger, and a short direct swing. Zach has a high contact approach, and can extend better through contact. He was named to both the 2022 Preseason Underclass All-American Team Southeast Region and the Junior National Showcase.



Trip Dobson, 3B, Baton Rouge, La.

Trip is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete with good athleticism that projects well, especially with continued strength gains. Possessing a strong arm with accuracy from the infield, Dobson has a high ceiling moving forward. Offensively, he swings with good barrel control, and impacts the ball using ample power as he works the ball with a gap-to-gap approach. Trip was named to the 2022 Preseason Underclass All-American Southeast Region Team.

Lake Reed, C, Tupelo, Miss.

Lake is a catcher with a 6-foot, 195-pound frame and shows good fundamentals and functions throughout. Showing smoothness through transfer and good accuracy on throws, he can keep most runners honest from taking extra bases. Lake has a decent contact approach at the plate with some gap-to-gap ability. Lake is just a gamer and does whatever it takes to help his team be successful.



Hunter McLemore, RHP, Henderson, Tenn.

East Cobb Astros

Hunter is a physical presence on the mound, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 200 pounds. With a solid build and strong lower half, Hunter leverages the baseball with ease to the plate with a downward plane. Consistently pitching in the mid- to upper-80s while topping out at 90 mph, McLemore attacks hitters and the zone with a heavy boring-type fastball. Hunter has registered a whopping 53 strikeouts in just 27 2/3 innings of work while yielding just 21 hits. Helping him rack up these stats is a sharp downer of a curveball and a changeup with good fading action to it while maintaining good arm speed when executing it. Hunter should continue his development and only get better with more refining and consistency. Big upside arm. McLemore has been named to seven all-tournament teams this summer and been on a WWBA champion team with the East Cobb Astros 17U in the 2022 Underclass PG Southeast Labor Day Classic.

‘28 OF Jakob Groeschel (OH) continues to impress with the bat on the circuit, picked up 2 2Bs in the first game today. The 2026 MLB Draft class is shaping up to be one of the better in recent memory and, potentially, the best class in the last decade. It’s led by UCLA superstar shortstop Roch Cholowsky, a true five-tool prospect who’s the early favorite for 1:1. One of the most popular pieces of industry feedback when constructing this list was some variation of “Roch is too low” or “go up on Roch” and he’s the best college prospect since 2019 when Adley Rutschman (Oregon State, Orioles) was the consensus No. 1 prospect. This week brings a new top team to the rankings as Johnson County (KS), on the strength of 10 consecutive wins and a 26-2 record, claims the overall number 1 spot. The Cavaliers have made 3 consecutive trips to the JUCO World Series and have the talent to make it back there again this spring. Florida Southwestern and Chipola have seemingly separated themselves as the most consistent teams in Florida. Welcome to the top 5 to the Gaston Rhinos who will be one of the first teams to 30 wins this spring. In every major sport, the championship is decided in the postseason. You can lose games all year, get hot at the right time, and walk away with the hardware. The regular season is a rehearsal. The playoffs are the show.  The championship belt changes that. Borrowed from professional wrestling, boxing and ultimate fighting, the belt travels the moment the holder loses — no brackets, no seeding, no second chances. A random Tuesday non-conference game in Milledgeville, Georgia  becomes a title fight. A spring trip to Florida becomes a gauntlet. The defending national champion can lose the belt before February is over.  We’re tracking three belts this season — NCAA Division II, NAIA, and NCAA Division III — each starting with the defending national champion. We have another update to the National Top-50 after two weeks of even more games being played in the southern states along with seasons just starting to kick off across the country. We’re quickly approaching another stellar high school event, the NHSI in Cary, and with that will come even more movement in these rankings. St. John Bosco (CA) continues to hold firm at the No. 1 position after a 4-0 start to their season. Venice (FL) has been rolling throughout the early portion of the year and jumps up to No. 2 in the country. One of the biggest movers in this update is The Bennett School (TX) jumping from unranked to No. 8 in the country after beating a handful of top ranked programs to start the year.
