Zach Porter is a 2024 C with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends McCallie School. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low, game actions in drills, has polished lower half footwork and actions, gains ground well on his throws, makes accurate throws with good carry, strong overall fundamentals. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a high hand load, simple trigger and timer, short and direct swing, high contact approach, can extend better through contact. Excellent student.
