With the playoff rounds in full effect, many players that proved to be so exciting to watch in the week made their presence felt again as things heated up.

Uncommitted Brayden Bachman (2025, Chesapeake, Va.) continued to his torrid pace by collecting his 11th hit of the week. The compact, athletically-built outfielder impacts the baseball seemingly every time he steps to the plate and had six extra-base hits including three home runs during the 15U WWBA National Championship. It is a simple, repeatable swing with good lower half movements into contact and plenty of present bat speed. Bachman has shown countless times the ability to adjust well despite pitch type or location, driving balls from foul pole to foul pole. He stays through the hitting zone a long time with his loose, slightly lofted stroke and generates good torque and whip to his barrel. The consistent ability to get the barrel out in-front and on-time stands out, as does the power potential which he exhibited several times throughout. The uncommitted 2025 grad has some positional versatility as well, as he is capable of manning all three outfield spots if needed and can play both second and third base if necessary. The optionality in the field will be useful for any college coach, as the bat is the carrying tool and should only continue to expand as Bachman physically matures.
