We’re officially through three-quarters of the season and the only thing that seems to be clear is that Tennessee is still the top team in the country. The Volunteers had another undefeated week which saw them go to Gainesville and sweep the Gators. Oregon State is at No. 2, as they went 4-1 and hold steady there. Southern Miss climbs to No. 3 after another conference sweep, while Miami is back up to No. 4 after a conference win. Virginia Tech went 5-0 on the week to land at No. 5 in the country.

Oklahoma State and Arkansas fall to Nos. 10 and 11, respectively, after they stumbled this week, while TCU is the biggest benefactor of beating Oklahoma State and they climb to No. 6. Oregon stumbled against Washington State while Grand Canyon had a split week against Stanford and San Diego State. Florida State continued their Jekyll and Hyde show with a road loss to Clemson while Stanford, UCLA, and Auburn were all risers. We have one new team this week in Georgia Southern at No. 24 after a sweep of South Alabama brought their RPI to third nationally. Texas A&M and Wofford were the next two teams in after victories against Arkansas and Mercer, respectively.
