Andrew Poon (Greensboro, NC 2022) is a 6-1 uncommitted pitcher playing for the NCBA Golden Spikes team. He has good size with a well-balanced delivery. Poon generates good arm speed with a high three-quarter arm slot and good extension on his release, which gives the ball good carry to it. He has some room to grow with the breaking ball, but he spots up the fastball well. Poon topped 84 mph and sat in the low 80's. He finished his day going four innings with four strikeouts. Solid outing!!
