Playoff day at Prospect Meadow provided a plethora of standout performances at both the WWBA 17U North Championship and 14U Midwest World Series. Impact arms, potential draft picks, and standout hitters all took the stage for a day fill of action.

Noah Schultz (2022, Aurora, Ill.) got the start for the Cangelosi Sparks 2022 Black in their round of 16 contest, and the southpaw showcased once again his elite-level stuff from the left-side. Though command was an issue for Schultz on Monday, the Vanderbilt sat 87-90mph with his fastball, topping at 91 and creating a tough look for hitters from the low three-quarters slot. Schultz had trouble finding the zone with his breaking ball on Monday; however, there are still pieces that lead scouts to believe the entire arsenal could be really special.
