Prospect Meadows Scout Notes: June 26

Jackson Brockett (2021, Omaha, Neb.) impressed over three no-hit innings of work on Saturday, sitting 83-85mph with a heavy fastball and showing good feel for a quality three-pitch mix. Brockett was able to mix speeds and locations with frequency, showing good feel to land the sweeping curveball for strikes and flashing a good changeup at 77 mph. The Nebraska commit stays free and easy throughout the delivery, coming across the body and creating steep plane to the fastball. Brockett provides plenty of pitchability to get excited about and should continue to blossom into a good arm at the next level.
