Blake Bunda (2028 IF, Pocahontas, IA) did a nice job of staying on balance today and timed up a fastball before sending it deep to left field for a triple.  He has a quick swing through the zone that allows him to generate nice pop off the bat.

Brody Phillips (2027 MIF, Arcola, IL) was impressive on the mound for his two innings of work today, showing nice control over his fastball/curveball mix and earning four strikeouts.  His fastball sat 68-72 mph and his curveball came in at 55 mph with very nice downer action.

Braden Swaney (2027 OF, Omaha, NE) had a loud performance during the game today.  He was all over an inside fastball and drilled it over the right fielder's head for an easy triple.  He also showed off great arm strength, nailing a runner that had gotten too from first on a fly ball to center.

Gavin De Jesus (2026 SS, West Des Moines, IA) showed off his nice speed today, beating out two infield singles to the third baseman.  He is a twitchy athlete that has great range on defense and can make all of the plays.

JJ (Jeremiah) Phillips (2027 C, Pleasantville, IA) capped off a nice event with a loud barrel that ended up in center field for a line drive base hit.  He has a compact stroke and line drive approach.  He does a nice job of hitting the ball where it's pitched and doesn't try to do too much.

Dawson Weller (2027 1B, Ottumwa, IA) also found a loud barrel during the game today, sending a hard liner down the first base line.  He sat back on the ball well and let it get deep into the hitting zone before sending it the other way.

Owen Brown (2027 C, Hastings, NE) used high hands at the plate and big leg kick to find numerous barrels during BP. Brown took a quality round and showed off some quick hands at the plate with good pop. 

Braden Swaney (2027 OF, Omaha, NE) had a high intent round today. Swings the bat with authority. Looks to drive the ball to the pull side of the field. Showed some good bat speed.

Gavin De Jesus (2026 SS, West Des Moines, IA) showed some some power during BP today. Has a square stance with a toe tap trigger. Really loud contact to the opposite field. 

JJ (Jeremiah) Phillips (2027 C, Pleasantville, IA) has good rhythm at the plate when swinging. Hands worked linear to the ball during BP. Showed off some pull side juice as well. 

Charlie Sarsfield (2027 OF, Marion, IA) had a smooth LH swing with good intent. Good strength in the barrel for age. Has the ability to go either way, with a gap-to-gap approach. Good round.

Jaden Carrasco (2026 RHP, Chicago, IL) has a dynamic hitting profile. Hands have quickness, leading to good barrel control. Squared up multiple balls during his loud round of BP. 

Alex Griffin (2027 3B, Union, MO) displayed a quiet approach at the plate, belting many balls past the outfielders during his round. Confident, controlled swings with good intent. Very mature approach. 

Bridger Schmidt (2027 1B, Marion, IA) made big contact today during his round of BP. Early in his round he showed off some good pull side pop as well. XL frame with high intent behind his swings. 

Dylan Kassab (2026 C, Hinsdale, IL) showed off some good opposite field contact during his round today. Looked to drive the ball from gap-to-gap. Just about drove one out of the park as well. Mature approach. 

Andrew Castor (2027 OF, Marion, IA) Compact, direct hand path to contact with a mid field approach. Stays balanced at contact and picked up two base hits in game action.

Park Hilden (2027 MIF, Lakeville, MN) Smooth left handed swing with good barrel whip through extension. Flashed good carry off the barrel when squared. Collected two hits in game action.

Dawson Goad (2027 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) Utilized a balanced, wide base with a level, line drive barrel plane. Pick up two hits in game action.

Braden Swaney (2027 OF, Omaha, NE) Swung with intent and looked to attack the baseball aggressively. Generated hard contact when squared employing a linear barrel plane. Collected two base hits in game action.

Gavin De Jesus (2026 SS, West Des Moines, IA) Displayed good balance throughout his swing with the ability to generate extension out front at contact. Consistently produced good at bats and collected two hits in game action including a doubel.

JJ (Jeremiah) Phillips (2027 C, Pleasantville, IA) Hands work well through the zone with fluidity throughout swing. Showed a mid field approach with the barrel control to work to all fields. Collected two extra base hits.

Charlie Sarsfield (2027 OF, Marion, IA) Showed good balance with swing with rhythm through finish. Stays on the baseball well with the ability to work gap to gap. Pick up two hits in game action including a double. 

Jaden Carrasco (2026 RHP, Chicago, IL) Quick hands through the zone with the ability to generate solid jump off the barrel when squared. Doubled twice in game action.

Jackson Knickerbocker (2027 3B, Bristol, IL) Balanced approached with a repeatable swing plane through extension. Collected two hits in game action.
