JJ (Jeremiah) Phillips is a 2027 OF/C with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Pleasantville, IA who attends Pleasantville. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, worked aggressively to the ball and fielded it cleanly, has present arm strength from a 3/4's whippy arm slot, athletic actions in all his actions. Also caught, sets up side saddle, has quick feet and gains ground into his throws, lower exchange, good carry on his throws, some refinement needed but has the tools to keep improving behind the plate. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a medium leg raise timer, short and compact line drive swing with present bat speed, turns the barrel with intent, aggressive in his approach.
