Pack Jr. makes the jump inside the top-10 after incredible showings throughout the calendar year. The Texas commit had a good showing in Jupiter as an underclassman, showcasing the top of the class toolset that he possesses. He’s as twitchy as you’ll find in the country with great bat speed, can really run and plays great defense in center field. He was a big riser earlier in the fall and continues to fly up the rankings here. -Cam McElwaney




Miguel Sime Jr, RHP, Queens Village, NY
New Rank: 19 | Prior Rank: 90

Well, when you grab a 99 mph as a 16 year old on the biggest stage in Jupiter, you can certainly expect to move up into the top 20 prospects in the nation. The physical 6-foot-3, 225 pound prospect continues to move further into uncharted territory, as he became the lone player to touch 99 mph at Jupiter in the event’s more than 20 year history. Not sure what wild feat Sime Jr is going to top next but one thing is for sure- the arm here is special and might just be once in a generation. -AJ Denny

Hayes seems to be hitting another gear with his overall athletic skill set and elite projection in his 6-1/175 frame. The Stanford commit is a difference maker on the clay with his exceptionally smooth actions with the glove and base hit stealing range both directions. The arm is strong enough to keep him on the left side of the field and his loose, quick hands already project power at the next level. As he learns to be more selective at the plate and cuts down on the swing and miss, his stick could make him a strong Day 1 draft candidate in 2025. -Craig Cozart

Eddie Zaun, IF, Bradenton, FL

While he possesses well above average skills on the defensive side of the ball, his glove is kind of an afterthought because of his offensive prowess. The densely muscled, 6-0/200 infielder is a Miami commit and may well be the most complete hitter in the 2025 high school class. His numbers in Jupiter were mind-blowing as he hit .444 with 3 home runs and 11 runs batted in for an OPS of 1.579. All told, Zaun raked on the PG circuit this year, batting .386 with an OBP of .500 and he finished with a K-to-BB ratio of almost 1-to1 while swiping 7 bags for good measure. -CC


Brock Sell, IF, Stockton, CA

Sell has rocketed himself up the rankings by showing some of the most well-rounded two-way skillsets in the nation. The Stanford commit is an uber athletic 6-1/170 and has advanced feel for all aspects of the game and makes a difference regardless of where he’s playing on the field. We saw him play an excellent centerfield with first step quickness and the ability to leave his feet to make catches. He is already refined on the clay with smooth glove work, he can jump on the mound and pump low-90s heaters and his lefthanded swing shows barrel accuracy with projectable pop. Sell looks like a surefire two-way impact at the next level. -CC


Jack Ruckert, IF, Baton Rouge, LA

Ruckert has always been known for his smooth actions with the glove and the stick, but he put it all together from a performance standpoint in 2023. The 6-1/185 infielder is committed to LSU and if he continues to trend this way, he may never step foot on campus. His frame is starting to fill out and the power is showing up regularly as seen with his 6 home runs and 1.146 OPS on the travel circuit this year. His lefthanded swing is smooth and easy and he walks more than he punches out. His defensive capabilities will keep him in the middle of the field with an elite glove and plus accurate, strong arm. -CC

Brody Walls, RHP, McKinney, TX
New Rank: 48 | Prior Rank: 115

Walls is no slouch with the stick but as he has turned his attention more intently to the pitching side of things, he has taken his game to a different level on the bump. The 6-0/180 RHP has held his athleticism and is an efficient, explosive mover down the slope. Committed to Texas, he shows the toughness and raw stuff to be a factor out of the bullpen with his fastball that will reach 94 mph and sits in the low-90s with sizzle in the zone. He finishes hitters with an abrupt slider that shows elite spin traits and miss barrels at will. As he adds physicality, he should have the chance to be a starter at the next level if desired. -CC
 

Ty Peeples, OF, Lavonia, Ga. 
New Rank: 54 | Prior Rank: 78 

Peeples continues to rise in the rankings after putting together a great fall. There’s some serious projection here at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds and the power is already starting to come in bunches. He makes great swing decisions and controls the zone well with high end bat speed to go with it. It’s as intriguing of a profile as you’ll find in Georgia in the 2025 class. -CM
 

Austin Dean, LHP, Alexandria, Va. 
New Rank: 67 | Prior Rank: 89 

Dean makes a jump after a great showing at the HS All-State Showcase. He’s an extra tall and lean lefty with big present stuff and it’s easy to project more velocity as he adds strength. He comfortably gets into the low-90s with a sharp slider and a fading changeup, both around 80 mph. He continues to shoot up the rankings after showing some loud stuff. -CM

Kelvyn Paulino Jr, IF, Thomasville, NC
New Rank: 70 | Prior Rank: 133

The Miami commit continues to grow into his lean, yet wiry strong 6-1/185 frame as he methodically improves his well-rounded skillset. With loose wrists, strong hands, and the ability to stay on time with his hanging leg lift until two strikes, Paulino Jr collected extra-base hits at every stop on the circuit in 2023. He reads spin, knows his zone and is accurate with the barrel peppering line drives gap to gap with a consistent middle of the field approach. He is a solid average runner with good arm strength and can handle any corner position on the field with ease. -CC

River Hamilton, RHP, Woodvillage, OR
New Rank: 78 | Prior Rank: 500

Talk about putting yourself on the map in a big way, Hamilton is easily one of our biggest movers for the year. The 6-3/165 RHP who is committed to Oregon State has long levers and a fluid arm stroke allowing him to create low-90s velocity, peaking at 93 mph and sustain it deep into his outings. There is still a massive amount of projection left here which is part of the intrigue with this athlete. He misses barrels with his entire repertoire but be is still refining his secondary offerings with a curve and a cutter. The ceiling is high for Hamilton and the low mileage arm makes him even more interesting. -CC
 
Evan Taylor. RHP, Ocean City, NJ
New Rank: 100 | Prior Rank: 166

Taylor definitely got some national respect down at Jupiter for Team Northeast, maintaining low 90’s with ease and topping out at 93 mph. The delivery for Taylor is funky and unique with a super quick tempo displayed which leaves hitters looking uncomfortable in the box. The arm slot creates natural movement in the arsenal which includes both a tight SL and CH for swing and miss. -AD

Peter Mershon, C, Taylors, S.C. 
New Rank: 104 | Prior Rank: 278 

Mershon flies up the rankings after a monster performance in Jupiter as an underclassman. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound catcher hit an astounding .450 with three extra base hits at an event that’s always hard to hit at. He certainly looks the part and has great strength off the barrel. He’s routinely had big performances at the biggest national events and continues to have a good chance to go even higher.  -CM

Stephen Chucka, OF, Orlando, FL
New Rank: 120 | Prior Rank: 158

The UCF commit swung the bat with authority throughout the year and had some big moments in the biggest events. A compact, well-muscled 5-10/170, the left-handed hitter projects to hit for both average and power with his direct path to the ball and all fields approach. He is a solid runner with a strong and accurate arm in the outfield, taking good routes and covering ample ground. That being said, his stick will be what gets him in the lineup at the next level and he looks like an impact offensive threat from the get-go. -CC

Jason Fultz, 3B/IF, Harborcreek, PA
New Rank: 127 | Prior Rank: 178

At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds of pure muscle, Fultz is one of the most physically gifted prospects in the class that translates in multiple aspects of his game. Offensively, the righty has shown the ability to hit for both contact and power over the years with serious jump and carry production off the barrel. He fits the profile of a quality D1 3B with reliable glove work and range for his size, also showing off a cannon across the diamond that has been up to 91 mph on the mound. -AD

Tye Briscoe, LHP, Abilene, Texas
New Rank: 138 | Prior Rank: 397 

Briscoe gets a substantial bump in the updated rankings after showing some real two-way potential in Jupiter. The stuff on the mound is high end, running the fastball up to 93 mph with a low effort release. He rounds out the mix with a hard slider and a fading changeup. The bat was also good in Jupiter as he hit .375 with a heavy barrel and good strength. -CM

Thomas Case, RHP, Watervliet, NY
New Rank: 144 | Prior Rank: 229

Showing a continual upward trend, not only in pitchability but also raw stuff, Case has the look of one of the best RHP in the nation. At 6-2/170 he is lean with a smooth delivery and whippy arm action that helps him create upper-80s to low-90s velocity and we have seen him up to 93 mph. There is life in the zone, he pitches on the plate with confidence and backs up his heater with a hard, late slider that reaches the low-80s. He built prolific strikeout numbers this year as he averaged almost 2 punchouts per inning and had an almost 3-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio. -CC

Clayton Armah, RHP, Great Falls, Va. 
New Rank: 151 | Prior Rank: 500 

Armah gets a big jump in the recent update after showing big arm talent throughout the fall. He ran it up to 93 mph in Jupiter with a shorter shaped curveball in the mid-70s. There’s serious physicality to this profile and the ball really jumps out of the hand. There’s also some two way intrigue here as he performed well at the plate throughout the summer. -CM

Noah Allen, RHP, Watkinsville, Ga. 
New Rank: 161 | Prior Rank: 500 

Allen makes a huge jump in the recent update after a great showing at WWBA Underclass. He’s a long and lean 6-foot-6, 185-pounds and already showing some big stuff on the mound. The Georgia commit got up to 92 mph with a full mix that he sequences well. The mix of present stuff and projection make this a name to get to know in Georgia. -CM

Julius Rosado, 3B/IF, South River, NJ
New Rank: 165 | Prior Rank: 500

Rosado has really started to make a name for himself this Summer, hitting over .400 in his past three PG events, the latest being at Jupiter for Boston Red Sox Scout Team. The athletic 6-foot, 190 pound prospect has racked up seven HR’s in 2023 and provides an evident power threat in the middle of the order with tons of strength in the hands. -AD


Nathan Wines, RHP, Millersville, MD
New Rank: 168 | Prior Rank: 500

Wines has steadily gained national interest over the Summer, now up to 94 mph with electric arm speed and balanced mechanics. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound righty has big time swing and miss stuff in the arsenal and sequences effectively with high pitchability. Good chance the  ceiling here isn’t filled out as Wines could make another jump into some elite company in the near future. -AD

Nicholas Frusco, LHP, Miller Place, NY
New Rank: 186 | Prior Rank: 246

Frusco has been near unhittable in 2023, posting a 0.27 ERA through 25.2 IP with 56 strikeouts. A well deserved bump in the rankings for the 6-foot-4, 190 pound lefty who excels at controlling the pace of games and attacking hitters in all four quadrants. In his 5.2 inning start at Underclass, Frusco racked up 13 strikeouts holding upper 80’s velocity well, ultimately topping out at 90 mph. -AD

Erick Peralta, RHP, Brooklyn, NY
New Rank: 192 | Prior Rank: 500

Peralta doesn’t have a ton of PG appearances, but it’s safe to say he’s been effective during the games that he’s played. The Miami commit has been up to 94 mph back in September with clear heaviness to the FB from a low effort release and ¾ slot. There’s a great foundation here to refine and build on in what could become a top arm in the class in the future. -AD

Elijah Buffaloe, SS, Orlando, Fla. 
New Rank: 197 | Prior Rank: 500 

Makes a massive jump after showing a lot to like at the plate throughout the fall. The UCF commit controls the barrel well with great bat-to-ball skills. He has great barrel speed and can run well while also playing great defense up the middle. The ability to switch hit with the defensive acumen makes this a really intriguing profile. -CM

Brendan Horne, SS/2B, Hooksett, NH
New Rank: 241 | Prior Rank: 550

Horne is another name with limited PG stats but when you hit .833 with a pair of doubles at Underclass it’s hard not to get recognized. The still projectable 5-foot-10, 165 pound Vandy commit swings with intent and generates effortless bat speed through the zone with impact to all fields. He repeats the stroke well and has an evident speed tool to his game when on the bases, swiping at least two bags in three of his last five events. Horne has natural strength present in the build with signs pointing to additional power production in the future. -AD
 

Dax Kilby, SS, Newnan, Ga. 
New Rank: 250 | Prior Rank: NR 

Kilby is one of the higher risers in the recent update going from completely unranked inside the top-250 nationally. He put together great showings at WWBA Underclass and Jupiter, hitting right in the middle of one of the best lineups in each event. It’s an impact left-handed bat with good bat speed and physical projection at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds and is already showing pull-side juice.  -CM


Dylan England, SS, Boone, Iowa
New Rank: 256 | Prior Rank: 500 

England flies up the rankings after putting together great performances throughout the fall in front of a bunch of eyes. He routinely finds the barrel and shows great strength gep-to-gap with the ability to hit the ball out to the pull-side. He has a short and direct path while also playing good defense at shortstop with solid arm strength that will allow him to stay on the left side.  -CM

Dylan Passo, 1B, Red Bank, NJ
New Rank: 272 | Prior Rank: 500

Passo has really broken out offensively this Fall, posting a 1.119 OPS in his opportunities at the dish flashing a sweet stroke from the left side. The 6-foot-1, 195 pound prospect has certainly added strength recently, an aspect of his game that was always there but is now significantly prominent and developed. Passo currently sits as the #1 ranked 1B and #5 overall player in NJ for the ‘25 class. -AD


Nicky Becker, SS/2B, Thiells, NY
New Rank: 295 | Prior Rank: 500

The Virginia commit is quickly gunning for his brother Eric’s ranking which sat at #186 in the Class of 2023 and there’s nothing to suggest Nicky is slowing down anytime soon. While there are similarities to the brother’s games, Nicky has made a name for himself by creating loud impact to the pull side of the field with a leveraged stroke and clear hip torque present. He’s loose and relaxed in the box with barrel whip that generates carry and backspin on the baseball. He’s posted a .344 BA in 2023. -AD

Hogan Nelson, OF, Fort Worth, Texas
New Rank: 296 | Prior Rank: 474 

Nelson makes a big jump into the top-300 after a phenomenal showing at the Fall Top Prospect National showcase. The DBU commit showed great traits across the board with a real impact bat. The bat speed really stands out to go along with good arm strength from multiple spots and also runs well. -CM

Player of the Year: Asher Williams It was an incredible year for Williams that was rewarded with a trip to the 14U Select Fest, before some more impressive play in the fall. He came to the plate almost 250 times in PG tournaments throughout 2025 and reached base in well over half of them, hitting to a .500 AVG while slugging a 14U circuit best 12 bombs and driving in 113 runs. The numbers on the surface are ridiculous, but when you look at the high-level events he put them up in, it makes it even more impressive. Pitcher of the Year: Tristan Blalock Blalock earns this honor after a dominant 2025 where he struck out 85 batters in just 48.2 innings of work with a minuscule 1.58 ERA. We are prepping for a reshuffle of the 2026 MLB Draft Board as well here amongst the PG Draft staff. But before we get to that, we sat down and have each picked a couple of players who are in the mix to get selected in a couple of different buckets.  We have prospects who could go into the Top 30 picks or so, prospects who could be selected in the Top 5 rounds, and prospects who could go inside of the Top 10 rounds. Hitter of the Year: Landon Bonner The 2028 class saw many players from across the country take the next step in their development as they entered the High School ranks. There were huge performances from highly ranked players on the PG circuit as well as some under-the-radar guys who burst onto the scene. Landon Bonner came into Sophomore National as a Top 500 ranked player and after an impressive showing, left with all eyes on him as a rankings riser in the class. The left-handed hitting shortstop from The Colony, Texas, had a summer to remember with All-Tournament Team selections in three of his next four events culminating with a historic performance at the 2025 PG 15U WWBA National Championship. Hitter of the Year: Koa Romero is the Hitter of the Year for the 16u group, as he would come to every premier event of the summer and earn All-Tournament honors (Beast of the East, 16/17u WWBA, Jupiter) in every single one. Over 82 plate appearances, Romero would pump ten homeruns with forty two RBI and sixteen walks, good for a .378 average and 1.339 OPS. The performance on volume at the best events of the year pushed Romero over the edge here, as he’d hit a pair of homeruns in Jupiter (one of them at 112 EV) as an underclassmen and collect double digit hits in BOTH WWBA events with a combined six jacks over the two tournaments. Best Game I Saw: The Dream NTL 18U vs. MBA Scout Team Murphy Jupiter always brings out the best, and we got fireworks from the jump. Turner Marshall gave The Dream an outstanding 4+ innings of work on the mound, holding a lethal MBA team at bay with Chance Dixon, Derrick Carter, and Ellis Appling providing an offensive spark out of the gate for the Georgia based boys. However, it was only a matter of time before the talent on the other side got going, as MBA erased a 3-run deficit in the 5th to take a 4-3 lead led by a Parker Loew HR. The Dream then took command again in the Top of the 6th, before MBA punched right back with a huge 5-run inning in the bottom half capped off by a clutch RBI single from Matthew Kerrigan, ending a wild sequence with tons of notable performances from two very competitive rosters. Nebraska Cornhuskers 2025 Highlights: The Cornhuskers were a difficult team to figure in ’25 as they finished with 33 wins, played just .500 (15-15) in the Big Ten but had some big wins at various times during the season and got hot at the right time. They knocked off then #16 Vanderbilt in the second game of the year, beat #5 Oregon State 2-out-of-3 at home in late March and then got hot at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha to win the Big Ten Tournament. They beat Michigan State in a 10-inning thriller before taking care of #4 Oregon, knocking off Penn State and then shutout #13 UCLA to punch their ticket to the Chapel Hill Regional. Head coach Will Bolt has now led his alma mater to three conference titles and three NCAA Regional appearances during his six years in Lincoln.
