2022 Top Prospects

Chandler Pollard  OF - 2022 - Winston, GA
Washington State

Pollard ran the quickest 60 yard dash regardless of classification in Hoover over the weekend at 6.56 seconds and also showed plenty of present bat speed at the plate combined with projectable strength. Pollard has plenty of quick-twitch muscles on his build showcasing a clean round in the infield as well during the 14U Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase.

Caleb Campbell  C - 2022 - Killen, AL
Bevill State CC-Fayette

Campbell is a projectable catcher behind the plate whose swing is really going to carry him moving forward. There is present juice in his stroke and the jump off of his barrel plays both in batting practice as well as in game. There is intent to lift the ball into the air with Campbell's approach with the ability to do so.


2023 Top Prospects

Rives Reynolds  OF - 2023 - Flowood, MS
Mississippi State

Rives Reynolds showed extremely advanced arm strength in multiple facets topping out at an event best 85 mph from his primary outfield position and 80 mph on the mound. His all around tools are pretty special for his age with quickness, arm strength and the ability to create leverage as well as potential power at the plate.

Matthew Kitchens  OF - 2023 - Pike Road, AL

Kitchens really peppered the middle of the field in his round of batting practice at the event displaying a smooth swing with linear jump. He stands with a 5-foot-11 build and featured a projectable build and arm strength from the outfield. The bat is certainly advanced but with maturity, Kitchens has intriguing ingredients to be a big-time prospect.

Tanner Potts  C - 2023 - Deatsville, AL

One of the stronger showings from a catcher over the weekend belonged to Tanner Potts. The tools behind the plate were certainly impressive while the bat projects in a big way as well. The mechanics coming out of his catching crouch are clean with plenty of arm strength and quickness and the feel for the barrel is noteworthy.

Sam Silas  SS - 2023 - Deatsville, AL
Jacksonville State

A primary shortstop, Silas, showed plenty of two-way talent with clean actions in the infield and projectable overall stuff on the mound. Silas has a projectable frame that projects in both areas of his games. Nice footwork in the infield and a fastball that reached 77 mph on the mound from a three-quarters arm slot make a him an interesting player to follow moving forward.


2024 Top Prospects

Drew Diamond  3B - 2024 - Hattiesburg, MS

One of the younger players at the event, Drew Diamond is a 2024 with several advanced qualities on the mound including a fastball that topped out at 77 mph. His delivery is really clean already for his age and works through a fluid arm stroke. He worked to both sides of the plate with his fastball and showed lots of feel for a scurvy-type curveball that he is comfortable throwing in any count.
