Caleb Campbell is a 2022 C/2B, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Killen, AL who attends Brooks HS. Recorded a 7.83 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Primary catcher with a loose arm stroke and falls off to the side. Clean transfer with aggressive throws down to the bag. Gets on top of throws well with pretty easy and simple mechanics throughout. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a big leg lift trigger into the swing. Flashes some bat speed through extension and rotates hips well onto the ball. Level swing plane with a longer path to contact. Middle of the field approach and works to the pull side with intent as well. Repeats the swing well and has consistency of contact. Good student.
