2024 Top Prospects
Alex Wagner  RHP - 2024 - Chapel Hill, NC
Uncommitted

Wagner is a very projectable young right hander with the athleticism to repeat his delivery and fill up the strike zone. He was up to 83 mph with big life with lots more velocity coming and spun a slider with 2400+ spin rates. Look for him to take a big jump in the next year or so.

Corey Bennett Jr.  2B - 2024 - Raleigh, NC
Uncommitted

Bennett's 6.57 speed is strongly his carrying tool and he uses that speed very well especially on the bases. He's a primary outfielder on defense but looked and played more like a future second baseman for the PG scouts.

Sam Daeke  C - 2024 - Cary, NC
Uncommitted

Daeke has a solid catcher's build with some physical projection remaining. His best present tool is his right handed bat speed, as he gets into his backside well, gets his hands into slot on time and really fires the bat head. He has the athleticism to stay behind the plate at the next level.

Keiro Marshall  1B - 2024 - Savannah, GA
Uncommitted

Marshall is a strong bodied left handed hitter with the ability to get the ball to jump hard, especially when he's pulling the ball. He's also a very good defender at first base and adept at picking low throws and the left hander even provided a moment of levity late on Sunday by getting a clean out while playing second base.

2025 Top Prospects
Matthew Moser  1B - 2025 - Pleasant Garden, NC
Uncommitted

Moser fits the big and strong slugger profile and looks taller and stronger than his listed 6-0/195. His hard double into the left field corner was about the loudest hit of the weekend. Moser is a primary first baseman and is solid there but he grades out even better in the outfield, helped by being a 7.00 runner.

Ethan Willard  SS - 2025 - Trinity, NC
Uncommitted

Willard is a 7.06 runner with a strong arm from both the outfield and infield and stood out defensively both in drills and the games with his athleticism. His ceiling will be determined by how much the right handed hitter can refine his swing and develop offensively.

Cole Barnes  RHP - 2025 - Wilmington, NC
UNC-Greensboro

Barnes is a strong bodied 6-2/200 right hander with a clean arm action and solid present stuff. He fastball topped out at 84 mph with low spin rate characteristics and was heavy down in the zone. Barnes curveball was a good secondary pitch with consistency and some depth.

2026 Top Prospects
Renard Stricklin Jr.  3B - 2026 - College Park, GA
Gaston College

Stricklin got everyone's attention early with his outstanding work in the infield drill, then continued to open everyone's eyes in the games by smoking four or five hits, including a couple of extra base hits up the left center field gap. He has lots of tools to develop over the next few years.

Connor Renshaw  2B - 2026 - Fredericksburg, VA
Uncommitted

Renshaw was the top defensive player at the showcase, making play after play after play in the middle infield during the games. He plays defense with confidence and aggressiveness and gets tough outs.

Logan Clark  RHP - 2026 - Virgilina, VA
North Carolina State

Clark has a nice 6-1/170 build that really projects well and very good run/throw tools for his age with a 6.98 sixty and an 86 mph outfield arm that also touched 85 mph on the mound. He'll continue to improve as he adds strength and bat speed to his offensive game.

Carson Everhart  RHP - 2026 - Lexington, NC
UNC-Greensboro

Everhart was one of the event's dominant hitters as he lined hit after hit gap to gap and showed the juice to get the ball into the alley's. The primary outfielder is a solid athlete with some arm strength but this weekend his bat was his present carrying tool.
