2024 Top Prospects
Ryan Moran
RHP - 2024 - Edmonds, WA
Uncommitted
What an impressive two-way performance from the uncommitted 2024. At the plate, he was both a batting practice stand out and loud in game perfomer. The wide stance at the plate makes it easy for him to allow his legs to generate power. The hands works direct with speed and obvious strength to all fields. LIved on the barrel throughout. On the mound, Stretch only operation with long arm and three-quarters release. Slight show in the back. Fastball plays heavy through the glove, up to 87. Filling up the zone, beating guys with it. Athletic mover, gets solid extension down the hill. Maintains the stack and fires the hip hard. Curveball is firm with decent late depth to it.
AJ Newell
RHP - 2024 - Excelsior, MN
Uncommitted
This tall lean projectable right hander works with Counter rotating delivery with medium arm swing to a high-three-quarters release. Fastball command was a tick above average but the offering shows solid life through the zone. Easy operation with looseness to the actions down the hill through release. Changeup is well advanced, maintains arm speed with turning over a good one that was frequently executed below the zone. Slider has sharp two-plane action and is the type that can rack up whiffs in bunches. Curveball has a slight pop out of the hand but shows the depth to dig down to the lower portion of the zone.
Blake Crawford
LHP - 2024 - West Linn, OR
Oregon
Long lean frame. Methodical core high lift with full smooth stroke and three-quarters release. Fastball has jump out of the hand with running life through the zone. Command stood out early in the outing working the fastball off the plate away from the right-handed hitter. Went to the chageup primarily against right-handed hitters, offering shows well with quality arm side action. Slider is hard and stays on the fastball plane well on its way to the plate. One plane type action but solid none the less. Legit arm, clean delivery with stand out 3-pitch mix.
Matthew Carleton
RHP - 2024 - Hoodsport, WA
Uncommitted
Tall lean frame. Counter rotating delivery with full arm swing to a three-quarters release. Pitches with a ton of tangeible confidence on the mound. Command stood out to the glove side. Threw a couple of legit sliders. Holds plane well out of the hand. Racked a solid amount of whiffs on both pitches. Offensively, its a simplisitc approach with moderate sride from a narrow start. Was well timed up throughout the round and drove the ball hard through both gaps.
2025 Top Prospects
Adam Jay
LHP - 2025 - Maple Valley, WA
Uncommitted
The talented two-way prospect planted his name firmly in the minds off the scouting staff at the Northwest Prospect both with his strong performance on the mound and competitive at-bats at the dish. On the mound, he's a high quality strike thrower with a low to mid 80's fastball that he pairs with a sweeping slider that induces whiffs frequently. Offensively, lived on the barrel all weekend and concluded his showing with a loud extra base hit in the pull side gap. Carries himself with confidence, and a name to monitor out of the PNW
Riley Sanoy
OF - 2025 - Edgewood, WA
Uncommitted
A lean projectable 6-foot-3 L/R with position flexibility is always intriguing but Sanoy matched the solid profile with high level production throughout the two days of game action. The swing is direct and smooth to impact. Natural leverage and strength in the frame creates hard jump off the barrel to all fields. He was able to make a pitch-to-pitch adjustment after fouling one off, styed on it a touch longer and roasted a shot down the right field line. Hunted three out of the box and cut each bag well to beat the relay throw. Tons more left in the tank and should be viewed as a quality uncommitted prospect out of the PNW.
Andrew Fetty
OF - 2025 - Mukilteo, WA
Uncommitted
The phyiscal left-handed bat of Fetty was an at-bat that drew a bit of extra attention especially after the show he put on in his batting practice round. The swing is well connectd with a barrel that snaps to impact and creates lofted middle to pull side jump. The loud power tool headlines the profile but shows no shortage of feel to hit. Translated the strong batting practice into solid game action performance.
Hayden Heckenkamp
SS - 2025 - Kirkland, WA
Concordia University (Nebraska)
Athletic primary middle infieler that shows the present athleticism to flex into any spot on the diamond. Offensively, presents a clean sig with above average bat speed and barrel control. Well sequenced swing with sound utilization of the lower half. Hopped on the mound for a brief sunday outing. Its a moderate lift with long arm stroke to a hitch near the ear to a high three-quarters release. Fastball is filing up the zone to both sides. Curveball is round with 12-6 action.
Bryce Bottemiller
3B - 2025 - Maple Valley, WA
Uncommitted
The durable corner infielder displayed solid feel for the barrel in batting practice and carried it over nicely into a his game at-bats. Th swing works direct to the ball with feel to match plane. The approach stays on a line through the gaps and should translate to continued success with the stick as velocities continue to increase. Simple but not at the expense of strength off the barrel.
Tyler Maurer
1B - 2025 - Renton, WA
Uncommitted
Big durable 6-foot-7 frame with two way ability. At the plate, the swing works with violence through the zone, hitting hard off the front side and firing line drives through the big part of the yard. On the hill, he works some smoothness to the operation for the size. Extension helps the sinking fastball get on the hands of right-handed hitters frequently. With the proper development he could be an asset with a bright future on the mound.
Yuma Noda
2B - 2025 - Bellevue, WA
Lewis and Clark
Noda's gamer qualities across all facets of his game stood out in a big way. Body fits the middle infield profile. The hit tool both in batting practice and in game was well advanced. The balnaced approach and calm load helps the repeatability of the line drive oriented middle of the field approach. Prototypical leadoff table setting type player.
Ethan Staples
RHP - 2025 - Sequim, WA
Uncommitted
Medium height lean frame. On the hill, its a loose athletic delivery with fluid arm stroke to a three-quarters release. The fastball command was stand out but the offering played fairly true. Changeup was advanced with solid arm speed and arm side turn over. Curveball is lengthy with moderate to subtle depth. Offensively, took a really strong batting practice, pounding both gaps and barreling everything. Well sequuenced swing with natural separtion and leverage ability. A name to keep an eye on.
2026 Top Prospects
Jake McCall
RHP - 2026 - Seattle, WA
University of Puget Sound
The primary right-handed pitcher shine on the mound as one of the young players in the high school portion of the event. The pitchability of his 4-pitch mix stood out in abig way. The operation is simple and well repeated with early signs of polish in the command, not only east and west but toying with eye level of opposing hitters. Spin profile is well above average for the class as well. Offensively, showed pretty solid strength when he barreled it up in batting practice. Definitely a name to track progression of over the coming years.
William Rohrbacher
1B - 2026 - Bainbridge Island, WA
Utah Valley University
The big 6-foot-5 2026 corner infielder has a high ceiling for power projection with the leverage and strength at impact he shows. Solid chance with a touch of polish to the swing and timing of things, he could present a significant run producing bat by his junior and senior high school seasons.
