2023 Top Prospects

Michael Petite  OF - 2023 - Palm Bay, FL
Miami-Dade College

Petite showed off his tools both in the workout and in game. The two way prospect showed off a strong outfield arm with good carry behind each throw. The loose and fast arm carried over to the mound where he topped out at 91 mph. The BP was loud and the bat speed was easy and explosive. Also collected a couple hits in game.

To say Kneir was dominant on the mound would be an understatement. He struck out every hitter he faced in his 3 inning outing while showcasing a fastball that topped out at 90 mph and sat in the upper 80's. He complimented the offering a tight spinning slider at 81 mph that he used as an out pitch. Both pitches were true swing and miss offerings.

Logan Chapman  3B - 2023 - Apopka, FL
College of Central Florida

Chapman used his strength to his advantage this weekend. In his BP round he was able to lift the ball with authority, leaving the yard on multiple occasions. There is present bat speed with plenty of whip to the barrel. Defensively, he showed good body control and a strong arm up to 88 mph from third base.

Keeton Burroughs  SS - 2023 - Odessa, FL
Pittsburgh

Burroughs impressed both on the dirt and at the plate on the weekend. The feeds were clean and the throws were accurate from short stop. His direct path and loose hands in the box allowed him to show off his line drive approach during BP and in game.

Joseph Indelicato  C - 2023 - Navarre, FL

Indelicato looked comfortable behind the plate showing off a strong, accurate arm in workouts popping a 2.05. In-game he gunned down a runner at second base and received the ball with soft hands. He was on time at the plate and used his quick hands to spray line drives all over the yard in BP.


2024 Top Prospects

Talan Bell  LHP - 2024 - Oviedo, FL
Clemson

Bell shined during outfield drills reaching 94 mph with plus on line carry to his throws. There's easy bat speed in the box with fast hands and good use of the lower half in each swing.

Cristian De Los Santos  OF - 2024 - Miami, FL
Miami

De Los Santos turns the barrel over hard creating good bat speed. Collected 2 hits showing balance and explosiveness in the swing.

Kolt Myers  SS - 2024 - St Augustine, FL
Florida

Myers has loud tools and they showed up in different ways this weekend. He ran his heater up to 91 mph showing a loose, fast arm in the process. There was good intent behind both his changeup and curveball with both showing true bat missing ability. The swing was athletic with an inside hand path and present juice to the pull side.

Alejandro Abreut  1B - 2024 - Miami, FL
Florida Atlantic

Abreut impacted the ball loud to the pull side with good leverage from a lofted path. Uses the strength in his frame to power the ball and create loud contact.

Austin Jacobs  SS - 2024 - Geneva, FL
Clemson

Jacobs had strength through the zone in his BP round. Gets extended well through contact with good body and control and fundamentals.

Adonys Velez  SS - 2024 - Orlando, FL
Florida State

Velez was a stand out during his workouts. The athleticism showed on defense with his soft hands, quick release, and big lateral range to his left and right. Showed an effortless, controlled swing and produced hard liners to both halves of the field.

Michael Kalinich  C - 2024 - Longwood, FL
East Carolina

Kalinich was stellar in games during the weekend. Collected 2 base hits and barreled everything he saw. He stays connected well in his swing and his uphill path gives him considerable lift and power at contact. Showed good catch and throw skills behind the dish with a caught stealing and 2.05 pop time.

Bailan Caraballo  OF - 2024 - Orlando, FL
Miami

Caraballo hit some massive homeruns in his BP round clearing the wall with ease. He uses his long levers to create plus bat speed and separation in the swing. The extension out front and natural lift in the hands give his already present power even more potential down the road.

Yail Nater  OF - 2024 - Arecibo, PR
St. Petersburg College

Nater worked out athletically in the outfield, working through the ball well and showing a strong arm with carry up to 90 mph. The bat worked consistently on a level plane with some strength at contact.

Cole Huddleston  3B - 2024 - Palm Harbor, FL
Flagler College

Huddleston had a solid round of BP, hitting the ball hard and whipping the barrel through with intent. Impressed in the infield showing the ability to make throws from multiple slots with a quick release. Showed real feel for the game and a grinder mentality.

Cole Ingole  RHP - 2024 - North Fort Myers, FL
Pensacola State

Ingole's ran his fastball up to 86 mph with short in-zone life to it. His sweeping curveball and cut changeup tunneled well with the heater and induced a fair share of swing and missed in his 3 inning outing. Rotates well at the plate with intent and strength. Handles himself well at third base with good bend and an easy release.

Ryley Chapman  3B - 2024 - Sanford, FL
Texas San Antonio

Chapman showed off intriguing 2 way potential and impressive body control. Easy, smooth actions in the infield with arm strength up to 88 mph on throws. Similar swings from both sides of the plate with barrel control. Varied deliveries on the mound to disrupt hitters timing to go along with command of a fastball and curveball.

Edwin Gonzalez Ortega  OF - 2024 - Aibonito, PR

Ortega showed off impressive tools this weekend with strength present during the outfield workouts. He threw 87 mph with fluid actions and bounce to his step. He used a spread open stance and a simple stroke to produce quality contact in BP.

Canon Hopper  LHP - 2024 - Indialantic, FL

Hopper racked up 4 strikeouts in 1.2 innings showing off good command throughout. The fastball topped at 85 mph with good riding life and late darting action to his arm side. Athletic delivery with a loose arm and 2 viable secondaries in his changeup and curveball. Both showed good life and short depth with good hand speed. Solid foundation to build upon with more to come.

Atticus Huffstutler  C - 2024 - St Pete Beach, FL
Michigan State

Huffstutler had a solid weekend catching and hitting. Popped a 2.00 with a quick catch-and-release and an accurate arm throwing out a would be base stealer in game. Uses his size to his advantage creating loud contact with some heavy hitting hands.

Jace Kohler  SS - 2024 - Clearwater, FL
High Point

Kohler had a quality round of BP, spraying hard line drives all over the field. Turns the barrel over with conviction and shows explosive rotation in the hips. Showed a clean exchange with the ability to throw on the run in workouts and made a number of acrobatic plays in game.

Kaiden Krak  RHP - 2024 - Orlando, FL
University of Central Florida

Krak used a 3-pitch mix for success on the mound, racking up 4 strikeouts in his 3 innings of work. He showed great feel for his curveball and changeup, effectively mixing and matching whenever he wanted to. The fastball topped at 85 mph and showed good life especially to his glove side.

Adrian Otero  OF - 2024 - Kissimme, FL

Otero athleticism was on display during the weekend. He shined in the outfield building momentum well and firing bullets up to 90 mph with accuracy. Drilled a single in game showing good balance and consistency in the swing.

Dariel Pirela  OF - 2024 - Tampa, FL

Pirela was able to shine in his workout, showing off his arm from the outfield, reaching 88 mph. He has a quick first step with athletic action and a fast release. At the plate, the right-handed batter stayed connected well showing off loose, quick hands and feel for the bat head.

Resmondo shined at the plate collecting 2 hits in 5 at bats on the weekend. Feel for the barrel and hand eye coordination stand out as he stayed sound in his approach and hit the ball where it was pitched.

Voelz did a good job of missing bats and staying off the barrel in his 3-inning outing. He repeated his compact delivery well, showed feel for a changeup and curveball, and topped out at 85 mph with heavy sinking life to the fastball. Swung it well in BP barreling balls consistently from a steeper path producing strength at the point of contact.

Blake Fields  OF - 2025 - Orlando, FL

Fields did it all this weekend, showing the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. The fastball got on hitters at 85 mph showing late life and ride at the top of the zone. Strength is evident at the plate and there is controlled aggression to the stroke. Defensively he showed the ability to make all the throws from the outfield with a quick first step and clean funnel to boot.

Trace Furniss  LHP - 2025 - Orlando, FL

Furniss attacked hitters with a fastball that reached 84 mph that showed late sinking life. He kept hitters off balance by mixing in a traditional curveball with tight spin. The delivery had deceptive qualities and the arm had some whip to it.

Andrew Gonzalez  SS - 2025 - Hialeah Gardens, FL

Gonzalez did a bit of everything showing well in workouts and in game. Threw strikes on the mound with feel to pitch, fielded the ball clean on the dirt and showed good contact skills at the plate.

Adkins swing was short and on time all weekend. He can move the barrel all over the zone and stays compact throughout.

Byrd showed nice potential at the plate with whip to the barrel and good use of the lower half. Also pitched showing some a repeatable delivery and looseness to the arm.

Altman impressed on both sides of the baseball. He was up to 83 mph with fastball and mixed in a fading changeup to both right handers and left handers with feel to locate both. He collected 3 strikeouts in 3 scoreless innings. Rhythmic hitter in the box with a powerful swing that produced homers in BP.
