Ryley Chapman is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Boerne, FL who attends Lake Brantley. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Switch-hitter at the plate, has bat speed from both sides of the plate, timing and smoothness a bit better from the right side, gets out front from the right side with solid pull side line drive contact, has potential from the left side with more consistency. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, arm is his best tool, has a compact arm action and makes very accurate throws with good carry, may profile best at third base in the future. Also worked out in the outfield. Took a turn on the mound, has an athletic delivery with a medium length high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics and works quickly. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight, can spot it to both sides of the plate and throw strikes. Curveball was a solid second pitch with 11/5 shape and some depth. Elite level student, signed with UT-San Antonio. Named to the Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
