2022 Top Prospects
Keaton Ference  OF - 2022 - Wesley Chapel, FL
Seminole State College of Florida

Ference stood out in a big way as he started his event with a smooth 6.79 second sixty yard dash. Athleticism showing in the outfield as he threw it 84 mph. Hit and power tools being his strongest assets. Doubled twice in games and recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph, the highest of the event.

Derek Yahel Rodriguez  OF - 2022 - Coral Springs, FL
Uncommitted

Yahel Rodriguez projects in a big way on the bump. Fluid, easy arm stroke as he sat in the mid-80's with ease. Also proved he could spin it with a sharp breaking ball to go with it. Carved up hitters and did it with a swagger.

Jaron Cotton  3B - 2022 - Leander, TX
Uncommitted

Cotton could make the argument as one of the top athletes from the event. Ran a 6.76 second sixty and the speed translated onto the diamond in the middle infield. Also had a strong arm as he threw it 85 mph during drills. Found some loud barrels in the box and had an exit velocity of 87 mph.

Harrison Griffeth  LHP - 2022 - Alabaster, AL
Jefferson Davis CC

Griffeth is the projectable left most at the next level are looking for. Smooth arm stroke and will gain velocity with some simple mechanical fixes. Fastball up to 84 mph with plenty more in the tank. Mixed in a pair of secondaries with a vertical breaking ball and a fading changeup.

Carson Chandler  RHP - 2022 - New Albany, IN
Anderson University

Chandler is a long, lanky right-handed pitcher who still has some room to fill out, making him projectable. Arm works as he is fluid in the delivery while proving he can repeat his actions. Lived down in the zone with the heater as he was up to 83 mph. Also flashed a sharp breaking ball with vertical bite to it. Rounded arsenal off with a tumbling changeup.

Hecxiel Perez  C - 2022 - Sabana Grande, PR
Uncommitted

Perez generated some of the loudest contact of the event while at the dish. Big power as the right-handed stick goes after it with intent. 90 mph exit velocity and it translated into games as he doubled deep into the right-center gap.

Jean Santos  SS - 2022 - Kissimmee, FL
Uncommitted

Santos was smooth at short as he made all the plays while making it look easy. Flashed feel in the box too as the left-handed stick delivered the bat head on time in ever at-bat. Had a base knock and also lined out to the rightfielder in games.

David Auw  RHP - 2022 - Lemont, IL
Uncommitted

Auw was a force on the mound as the right-hander had total trust in his stuff. Went right after hitters and missed barrels while doing so. Topped out at 82 mph but a pair of breaking balls is what helped to generate so much swing and miss. Pitchability present and is a name to follow going forward.

Kristopher Shaziel Rivera-Velazquez  C - 2022 - Caguas, PR
Uncommitted

Rivera-Velazquez had a strong showing in defensive drills as the catcher was fundamentally sound. Recorded a pop time of 2.00 seconds. Also flashed power at the plate with an exit velocity of 89 mph. Sent a towering shot into the left-center gap into the wind that was caught, but the power was on full display.

Brock Donnelly  C - 2022 - Huntersville, NC
Uncommitted

Donnelly is a physical prospect who does a good job behind the dish while offering power in the box. Recorded a pop time of 2.04 seconds during drills. Also found loud barrels in the box and was robbed of a hit as he lined out to a defender making a diving catch. Exit velocity was up to 87 mph proving to have power as well.

2023 Top Prospects
Anthony Torres  C - 2023 - Miami, FL
St. Thomas University

Torres was solid behind the dish as the backstop recorded a pop time of 2.01 seconds. Also ran into some really loud barrels in game as he showed off the hit tool. Projects power and will get it done at the dish while playing a premium position defensively.

Free Agents Top Prospects
Bryon Rincones  RHP - Free Agents - Oranjestad, AA ABW
Bethune-Cookman/Northwest Florida State College

Rincones projects as a power arm going forward as the right-hander was up to 87 mph. Will make big velocity jumps when he gets the lower half involved. Tight spinning breaker mixed in that had hitters buckling knees. Confident in his stuff and knows how to pitch.

Dyrenson Wouters  SS - Free Agents - Santa Cruz, AA ABW
Southern New Hampshire

Wouters impressed during infield drills as he bounced around and showed off his athleticism. Also found some really loud barrels in game with a single and also lined out strait to the leftfielder. Instinctual and knows how to play the game at a high level.
