2025 Top Prospects

Gaige Stuckey  LHP - 2025 - Washington Court House, OH

Stuckey is an impressive two-way athlete and the most projectable player at the showcase. He was up to 74 on the mound and his best pitch was a mid-60's curveball that was simply outstanding in all aspects. Stuckey also has a sweet left handed swing that produced a couple of hard hit triples in the games.

Tucker Wilburn  RHP - 2025 - West Chester, OH

Wilburn graded out as the top hitter at the showcase, with big bat speed and lots of raw power. The 6-0/157 athlete also was up to 80 mph on the mound and is solid at third base on defense.

Adam Urban  RHP - 2025 - Wauwatosa, WI
Minnesota

Urban has a very nice left handed swing that promises lots of future power, with excellent hip action in his swing mechanics. He also had one of the strongest arms at the event, throwing 79 mph from the mound and 81 mph during infield drills.

Ryan Petras  SS - 2025 - Bethel Park, PA
Northwestern

Along with running an event best 7.10 sixty, Petras really stood out on defense in the middle infield, both for his ability to make the routine play with strong fundamentals but also for his athleticism in making the difficult play.

Carter Christenson  SS - 2025 - Cincinnati, OH
Ohio State

Christenson is a nice all around athlete with the tools and skills to stay in the middle infield on defense to go along with a nice line drive swing from the right side. He was also a strike machine at 76-78 mph from the mound.

Gianni Lora  OF - 2025 - Liberty Township, OH

Lora speed stood out all weekend, running a 7.32 sixty, showing high level athleticism at both shortstop and the outfield and beating out numerous infield hits with his quick break out of the box and high energy style of play.

Alex Pierce  RHP - 2025 - Sterling Heights, MI
Central Michigan

Pierce has a big and strong 6-1/195 power pitcher's build and a fastball that already hits 80 with good command to go with a very nice change up for his age. He also has impressive right handed power at the plate.

JJ Darst  C - 2025 - Mason, OH

Darst is well schooled in the finer points of catching and definitely has the arm strength for the position. His bat stood out in the games, with 3-4 line drive hits that showed his barrel accuracy. He was also 77 mph off the mound.

Kolton Smittle  3B - 2025 - Lawrence, PA

Smittle has a football player's build and aggressive approach to the game. He smacked both an inside the park home run and deep triple to left centerfield in games and played both third base and catcher with skills and athleticism.

Kyle Anderson  C - 2025 - Camden, OH

Anderson has a strong catcher's build at a present 5-9/165 and all the requisite tools for the position as he matures physically. He was also up to 77 mph on the mound with a nice slider he landed consistently.

Isaac is a nice young athlete with lots of physical projection remaining and lots of diverse skills. He ran a 7.67 sixty, played both infield and outfield well with good athleticism and fundamentals and swung a strong right handed bat.

Tewell is a big and strong 5-10/185 athlete with present strength and impressive 7.32 speed for his size. He showed plenty of raw bat speed and has a chance to be a power/speed offensive player in the future.

Joey Watts  RHP - 2025 - Cincinnati, OH
Miami (OH)

Watts is a big and strong 6-0/160 right-handed hitter with plenty of projection left in his fame. He has a nice and short swing with plenty of loft in it and projects lots of future power. He did a nice job of working gap to gap in the games and finding barrels.
