Colin Knowles

Knowles showed intriguing tools throughout the workout showcase. He kicked things off with a 6.88 60-yard dash and showed good arm strength across the diamond, recording throws up to 89 mph with good actions on the dirt. He then put together a solid round of batting practice, showing quick hands with ability to impact to both gaps and also logged an exit velocity of 92 mph.
2027 Top Prospects
Bobby Wooten

Wooten was one of the biggest standouts in attendance. He ran a 6.77 60-yard dash to start the event and then put together one of the best performances in the defensive portion. He showed great actions in multiple spots with easy arm strength. Wooten then strung together a solid round of batting practice with consistent middle of the field contact.
Connor Gavigan
OF - 2027 - Riverview, FL

Gavigan put together a really loud performance throughout the showcase. He's a super physical primary outfielder with obvious tools, running a 6.88 60-yard dash, recorded throws up to 91 mph from the outfield and hit multiple balls into the trees in the round of BP. It's a loud toolset and he can really hit too.
Landis Pickett
1B - 2027 - Jacksonville, FL

Pickett had the strength on full display in the round of batting practice. The physical first baseman lived on the barrel and showed the ability to lift with authority, leaving the yard to the pull-side. He also recorded an exit velocity of 99 mph.
Tristan Macpherson

Macpherson showed some really intriguing things throughout the showcase. The physical right-handed pitcher/outfielder had the arm strength on full display in the outfield workout, recording throws up to 90 mph and then showed the ability to hit the ball with authority throughout the round of batting practice.
Davian Hammonds

Hammonds is a really intriguing athletic profile and had that on full display throughout the workout. He ran one of the faster 60's of the event, a 6.55, and then showed off the arm in the outfield workout, recording throws up to 89 mph. The right-handed swing projects in a big way and he found the barrel at a high clip throughout.
Grant Helms

Helms performed well throughout the workout showcase and showed a good blend of tools throughout. He kicked off the event by running a 6.89 60-yard dash and then showed athletic actions in both the outfield and first base workout with fundamental movements. He then put together a quality round of batting practice where he lived on the barrel and showed a functional right-handed cut.

Thompson had one of the louder rounds of batting practice and lifted the ball with authority to the pull-side often. He also showed great arm strength from the outfield, recording throws up to 88 mph along with fundamental actions at first base too.

DeHaas put up a staggering 60-yard dash time, a blazing 6.26. The ability to run certainly stands out and he did so effortlessly. He also showed big intent at impact with good bat speed and feel to lift to the pull-side.

Johnson has really easy arm strength from multiple positions and had that on display in the workout. The primary middle infielder recorded throws in the upper-80s from multiple defensive spots along with putting together a strong round of batting practice where he showed solid strength to the middle of the field.

Hoots is just a really complete baseball player with fundamental movements shown throughout the workout. He works through the baseball well with sound movements in the outfield. He then showed great contact skills in the round of batting practice with the ability to get the barrel extended and impact to the pull-side.

Wooten put up a pretty big number in the 60-yard dash and that kickstarted a great showing at the workout showcase. He has solid arm strength across the diamond and the foot speed translated nicely on the dirt. He also showed natural barrel skills with budding strength as well.

Haughey was a standout on the defensive side of things, showcasing the arm strength from the outfield with good feel for angles and actions. The athleticism really shines in the outfield with quality footwork working through the baseball.

He kicked it off running a sub-7.00 60-yard dash, then put together a great round in the outfield with feel to work through the baseball. He then showed great contact skills throughout the round of BP with the ability to hit the ball consistently to the middle of the field.

Baxter showed some pretty impressive strength throughout the round of batting practice and it translated well into the exit velocity, where he recorded an impressive 93 mph EV. The strength translated well into the infield workout with good arm strength as well, recording throws up to 88 mph.

Edwards ran one of the quicker 60's of the event, a 6.69, and has tons of quick twitch muscle that translates to the entire profile. He showed good range with obvious foot speed throughout the round in the infield and then backed that up with a solid round of batting practice where he handled the barrel nicely.

Garcia showed intriguing power upside throughout the round and found it a few times, producing some loud barrels to the middle of the field. It's a prototypical power bat corner infield profile and he showed good arm strength across from first base, recording throws up to 85 mph with fundamental actions around the bag.

Gilsinn was one of our favorite infield workouts of the event, showing quick feet with natural range along with soft hands and the ability to change slots. The arm strength will continue coming with added strength and he also showed a mature approach to the round of batting practice as well.

The arm strength stood out at first base as well recording throws up to 92 mph and then put together a loud round of batting practice with the ability to impact to the pull-side with authority.

Edwards kicked off the event running an impressive 6.54 60-yard dash and then backed that up showing quality actions on the dirt with obvious feel for the leather and arm strength across the diamond, recording throws up to 84 mph with feel to change angles. The switch hit tool was intriguing as well, mirroring both swings with consistent contact in both swings.

The primary right-handed pitcher showed nice actions in the outfield and worked through the baseball well with easy arm strength and carry out of the hand. He then put together a solid round on the dirt as well. The swing produced some loud contact when in rhythm as well, mostly to the pull-side gap with carry.

He started things off running a 6.67 60-yard dash and then followed that up showing athletic actions in the infield with noticeable arm strength across the diamond. The right-handed swing is short and functional with the ability to manipulate the barrel and consistently impacted to the middle of the field.
